Chapter 2: New Begining

Ethery's P.O.V

My head was in unbearable pain. If felt as if I was on drugs but I slowly brought myself out of sleepiness and slowly open my eyes. I close them again not wanting to see the swirls. I know I am going to have to see what they are eventually but........... what? Why don't I just take a look at it this morning! I fling open my eyes and hop out of bed and quickly getting ready like before except after eating I went into the living room to a swirl that is always there. Some swirls move but some don't.

I put my hand on the couch and I stared at the blackness and then at the swirls. I reached out focusing on the swirl in sight. I touch it! I touch it! It feels like running water. I quickly jerk my hand back and focus on the feeling in my hand and reach out at it but this time I don't feel it. I pull back and then I focus on the swirl with my eyes and then I can feel it. It feels like water almost like velvet. Suddenly is changes shape when I stick all of my arm in it. It changes to what a believe is an oval except it looks solid with moving swirls inside the purple like solid.

I reach out and it feels the same. I slowly step toward it and put myself all inside of it. My head started to hurt and my legs wobbled as the pain in me intensified. I tried to step out but it was to late. Once the pain was gone I collapsed on the hardwood floor. WAIT! hardwood?! I have a carpet floor! Where am I? I slowly stand and amble aimlessly searching for anything that could tell me where I am.

Suddenly someone asks,"Umm,...Hello, Miss?" I jump at the suddenness. I know I need to answer quickly so I ask,"Where am I?" I look to where I heard the voice and waited an answer. Out of nowhere he said,"Umm, Yogtowers. How did you get in their is a security door?" I quickly said,"I don't know this building or even how I got here." I heard nothing until suddenly he said," Excuse me, Let me get my boss." I nodded and I heard his footsteps as he walked away and I eventually heard a door open and close as he went to get his boss.

After maybe a minute or so I heard to sets of footsteps headed this way and I looked toward them. Most people don't know I am blind and I try to keep it that way. So the footsteps stopped in front of me and I heard a new voice say,"Who are you, Miss?" I nervously say," I'm,....Ethery. And you are?" He suddenly says," I am Lewis and this is Turps. Now may I ask why you are here, Ethery?" I nodded to him and say," I am not sure, I was at home then I felt sick and now I am here and then Turps found me." I say shrugging. I hear a tap of one of their foot and then Turps said,"Where do you live?" I looked toward the source of the sound and say,"I live in Bristol at, ***** ******** Ave. By some park." I heard the other one, Lewis say," Hmmm... that's about half an hour from here by car. There are no extra cars and Martyn didn't see you walk in or even pull up."

I quickly say,"Ummm, May I get a ride home or something. I don't know how to get there." I heard him tap his foot again before Lewis said,"Umm, I'm sorry no but is there someone you can call to pick you up?" I shook my head and said,"I just moved from Germany. Alone." Suddenly Turps said," That's why your accent is strange!" I jump back when he sorta whisper screamed it. Lewis laughs and says,"I'm sorry about him, but could I call you a taxi?" I shake my head because there is no way I could see when they were there and where he would stop for me. I quickly say,"Umm, I actually do have someone to get me." Instead of them answering I heard new pair of footsteps walk toward us, so I look toward them and whoever it was said,"Mates? Who is this beautiful lady?" I feel my cheeks heat up and I say,"I am Ethery." Then Lewis pipes up and says," Here take my phone to call them." I reach out and hold my palm upward and he sets it in my palm and I hold it up and feel the screen. Great its a touch screen. I slowly type it numbers and lucky enough his phone says out loud the numbers and I had typed in the correct number and hit the call button, I hope it was. It started to ring and my caretaker, that I need sometimes because I am blind and can't drive places.

"Umm, Hello? Who is this?" She said. I quickly answered,"Its Ethery, I need a ride back home I am at..." Suddenly the other guy speaks up and says," Its ***** ****** ******, And my name is Chris, Chris Trott." Suddenly my caretaker, Cassy screams," How in the world did you get there!" I quickly calm her down by saying,"Umm, I am not sure but I am fine and I just need a ride." Cassy quickly says more calmly,"Okay wait out front and I will be there." The phone starts humming as she hung up.

I reached out toward Lewis and he took it from my grasp. Suddenly Trott spoke up and said," I can take you out front and wait with you. Just follow me." I nod and follow his foot steps till I hear a elevator door open and he steps inside with me in tow. Eventually the doors open and he steps out and I do the same and he walks until he opens a door that I can hear busy footsteps from, probably outside. He grabs my arm and leads me outside where she had said to wait.

"So, Ho did you get here,Ethery?" Trott asked. I looked toward him and answered," I'm not sure, all I now is that I just arrived with a poof." My last word was laced with sarcasm. He laughs and says," Really? How did you get here?" He says seriously. I answer," I do know, I teleported here through a purple portal." I said jokingly but I knew it was true but I kinda wasn't sure. Suddenly he said," I like your contacts!" I think he noticed I was mad but I said through gritted teeth," They are real." he gulped and said," Uhh, they are cute.... And so is your hair...Ummm" I slowly calmed myself down and he suddenly said," Can I give you my number?" I shrugged and said," Just put it in my phone." I pulled out my crappy phone and held it out for him and he took it from me and typed it in before handing it to me and he said," I put my name as Trott and try to call me in the afternoon. When I am off work." I nod and I hear a car stop and Cassy say," Come here, The door is open." I walk toward her voice and wave to him while I carefully pull myself into the car.

I hear the car start to pull away and drive down the street. Cassy suddenly says," How in the heck did you get there!?" I answer quickly," Im not sure you would believe me..." She quickly says," I don't care how you got there just tell me!" I nod and say," Its strange but you know those swirls, Well I.." And I told her everything before I arrived home but she didn't believe me and I didn't believe myself.
