Niall's POV:

My eyes scan Kasey, her blondish brown hair with blue underneath and brown eyes. She was beautiful not that I will ever admit it. I couldn't help but give Kasey a dirty look as we eat. Its her fault I am in this mess. She is probably excited that she is going to get fame because of this. She seems like a spoiled, rich girl to be honest. “Wait what wedding?” she asks bringing me out of my train of thought. Wait she didn't even know? “They didn't tell you? Wow this keeps getting better” I say unable to keep the bitterness out of my voice. “Be quiet Niall” Mum says sternly. The girl beside me sits up eagerly watching Kasey. Now that I think about it she kind of looks like Kasey. Just with straight hair, actual bangs, no blue in her blondish brown hair. The eyes seemed different too. They were the same colour but there was something different about them. “You and Niall are getting married” her mum, Carol says calmly but there was a smug tone. What the hell his going on? “No your joking. Please tell me your joking” she says looking around the room. How could you? I just-” she shakes her head before running out. Well this is awkward. “That didn't go well” Carol murmurs. “You think mum? We don't even know Niall and you are sending her off with him. We know nothing about him” the guy, I think they said his name was James says standing up. I'm in the room and he is talking like I'm not. “He's famous” the girl beside me says. “Like that matter to us or her” James snaps. “James please” Daniel, the man says pleadingly. “No dad. This is not right. We just got her back and you are pushing her away again. She is only twenty! She does not need this. She is in college and she is still waiting for you to accept her” James yells. “Don't you raise your voice at me mister. You are starting to act like Kasey” Carol snaps. “Maybe that isn't a bad thing. She always get the bad end of your stupid plots its not right. And dad and I were brought into this” James yells. “He has a point Carol” Daniel speaks up. “Daniel-” she starts. “No Carol” he says holding up his hand. “For the last nineteen years we have done this your way. Look where this has got us” he says. “You can't even make a choice for yourself dad so look who is talking” James shoots back. He storms upstairs not hearing another word from them. “She is gone” James yells running downstairs. Daniel and him run to the front door with all of us following. Just as we get there a car pulls out of the driveway, tires screeching. “Nice job mum and dad. Now I have to go find her. AGAIN” Daniel says angrily. I think I just got pulled into the life of a rich, dramatic spoiled brat. “I'll help you” the words slip out of my mouth before I can stop them. He raises an eyebrow stopping in his tracks. “Really?” he asks. “Yeah” I say. Sense I already offered I can't back down. He nods for me to follow as he gets into his car. I climb in and he starts the car. I could hear his parents yelling but he doesn't stop. He pulls out his cell phone and starts dialing. “Hello” he says. “Yeah, Brie have you talked to Kase?” he asks. There is a pause and I could hear a female voice. “Um she will explain it to you later. Thanks Brie let me know if she calls you” he says. Silence. “Thanks again. Bye” he hangs up and his phone rings. “Hello?” he asks. “Hey Mate whats up?”. Pause. “She's there?” he asks. Did he find Kasey? “She is what?” he yells. “I'm on my way” he says hanging up. “You found her” I ask. “She is going to be a handful” he says through gritted teeth.

We pull up outside the local pub. “Why are we here?” I ask. “She's inside” he snaps. I wince but try not to take it offensively knowing he isn't angry with me. I follow him inside looking around when my eyes catch on her blond/brown hair and blue under-glow. She had changed into ripped jean shorts and a t-shirt. She was dancing with some guy, holding a beer in her hand. She looked tipsy. “Fuck” James hisses. He storms over there and punches the guy who is feeling up his sister. “James what did you do that for?” she demands her eyes were flashing with anger and a fire I saw in her eyes when she walked into the room earlier. You could hear a slight slur in her words. “Come on Kasey, we are going home” he says grabbing the beer and her wrist. “No that place is not my home. I don't belong here James. I told you that. My home is with Brie and and Nick. With all of them not here. I could never live here with them, like this. I'm sorry I left you but I finally know where I belong. Its not here” she says as tears welled in her eyes but she refused to let them fall. She looked so vulnerable. “Kasey, I'm sorry” he whispers. “Sorry isn't good enough” she says shaking his grip off of her. She stumbles towards the door and I catch her as she nearly falls. Her hands press against my chest as she tries to find her footing. My stomach does little flips and I feel heat spread from her touch. Stop it! Stop thinking about this. She is the enemy, the reason you are in this situation. “Its you. Why are you even here? Don't you have a model to bang or something” she asks harshly. I wince actually feeling hurt and offended. “Harry is the flirt and player not me” I say defensively. “You are all the same. All guys are the same” she says pushing me away. I don't know why her words hurt me but they did. Worse than all the hate I have ever received. James storms over and throws her over his shoulder as she screams pounding on his back. “Thanks man” he calls to the guy at the bar. “Anytime James, keep an eye on her and tell her it was great seeing her. Be sure to have to drop by again before she leaves again for college” he calls back. James walks outside and puts her in the back seat. I climb in and we head back. “Why did you help me find her?” James asks breaking the silence. I glance at him. “I don't know. I'm going to have to marry her so I guess I better start getting to know her?” it sounded more like a question. Truth is I don't even know why I did. How could I explain it if I didn't even know. He pulls into their driveway and I get her out of the back seat. She was fast asleep. “I'll show you where her room is” James says. He guides me up the stairs to the farthest room. I set her on the bed and before I can look around he grabs my arm and pulls me out. He guiding me to a room saying, “You can sleep in here” as he opens the door. “Did you find her?” Daniel says coming out of a room. “Yes” James says with a bitter edge in his voice. “Night Niall” James says before walking off. I head into the spare room and see some of my clothes. I change and lay down. Things are going to be eventful.
