it was just another day where the boys would do a v live and create songs on the spot from words that their fans sent in.

"wow~" wonpil exclaimed, the look of awe in his eyes, "that was so good jae hyung"

jae acted like his usual self as he put on a smug face and smiled towards the camera.

"wow..... really.... that was so good... I can't even-"

the boys laughed at wonpil's little outburst but young k observed the shorter boy, something was a little bit different, the way he looked at jae, the way he expressed himself. something was different and the boy was determined to find out what it was.

"wonpil do you like jae hyung?"

wonpil's eyes widened, mouth opened up to form the biggest O shape and his arms flailed around before he ran towards the door of his room to close it shut.

"y-you can't just say those things in the open!" wonpil whisper-yelled at the older boy.

young k didn't even have to ask twice, the answer was in the way wonpil acted.

young k called sungjin and dowoon into his room to tell them his findings and to devise a plan to get the two boys together.

wonpil was in his room, not knowing what the other boys were doing when he heard a knock on his door before it slowly opened.

"pil?"

it was jae. wonpil looked up as he felt his heart skip a beat, jae's voice did wonders.

"yeah?" wonpil replied as he looked at jae with an unreadable expression, something in between anticipation and admiration.

"do you know what brian and the boys doing? I saw them go into his room"

"I-I" wonpil was stuttering and starting to panic because of course he knew what young k was doing but no way was he going to tell jae.

"you know don't you?" jae asked or accused as he walked further into wonpil's room, his voice one of curiosity.

"uh.. no.." wonpil replied

"fine then" jae said before turning to leave, "i'll find out myself" he finished off with a small smirk, knowing that he'd get some sort of reaction out of wonpil

jumping up from his bed, wonpil screamed 'wait' as he ran towards jae at full speed only for jae to turn around and for the two boys to crash into each other, only for them to lay on the floor.

there were groans from both sides, mainly jae through as his body had hit the floor, as they both regained consciousness and looked into each other's eyes.

wonpil was honestly quite snug, lying on top of jae, he hadn't really got hurt at all.

"jae hyung, are you okay?" wonpil asked, his eyes wide in concern as he stared down into jae's eyes.

a soft groan came out of jae's mouth as he replied in a snarky manner, "what do you think?"

"sorry hyung" wonpil replied with a pout, "I didn't mean to hurt you"

and that melted jae's heart as he put a smile on his own face "you're so skinny, I didn't feel a thing pillie, it's okay"

wonpil's eyes lit up before another pout settled on his lips "but you're just as skinny as me"

jae's eyes were the definition of 'heart eyes' as he stared at wonpil, a fond smile on his face.

"okay, okay, we are both chopsticks okay?" jae said, a big smile on his face, "now stop pouting okay?"

wonpil pouted even more just to irk jae, something that he loved to do. shaking his head with a weird combination of a smile and a pout, wonpil stared straight into jae's eyes mirroring the look of adoration he was being given.

the smile on jae's face widened as he looked into wonpil's big eyes. pushing his head off the ground, jae leaned forward until their noses touched.

then he pecked wonpil's bottom lip that was jutting out.

"jae......" 

"wonpil.. I-"

"I like you jae hyung!"

a look of surprise washed over jae's face before he smiled, "I like you too pillie"

"really?" wonpil asked in surprise as he opened his eyes, "really? really?"

"yes" jae replied with a chuckle as he stared at a beaming wonpil.

"a-are we dating now then" wonpil asked, his gaze strong.

"if you're okay with it" jae replied, his voice low and gentle, his gaze warm and loving.

wonpil nodded before lying down to embrace jae. jae let out a gasp of surprise before returning the hug.

"jae hyung" wonpil said sweetly as his head snuggled into jae's shoulders.

"wonpillie" jae replied with the same tone.

at that moment the three other bandmates walked past wonpil's room.

"oh.. looks like we don't really have to do anything do we now?" sungjin asked with a grin on his face.

"let's just leave them like that" dowoon said with a chuckle before the boys retreated back to their own rooms.
