The Vengence Between (A Michael Vampire story)

Chapter Four

A week later, nothing major happend, just practice, practice, and more practice. But that didnt bother me one, bit. Today was the day we headed for the first warped show. I was beyond excited. The momment the bus arrived to my place, I rushed onto the bus and picked the top left bunk next to the back lounge. "Damn you Michael." Kuza said crawling onto the top bunk across from me. "You can sleep with me anytime you like, but do remember, I sleep naked." I said with a evil smirk. Kuza winked at me and  shut his curtian. God it was fucking early. I wasnt the least bit tired either. Whatever, I had a great day ahead of me tomorrow. "Which side are you on?" Aaron asked me as I made my way back up to the front lobby. "That one." I said pointing to my bunk. "Sweet. I got the one infront of you." Aaron said as he placed his stuff onto his bunk. I looked out the window at my appartment. The bus started to go once everyone was on, all I did was flip off my place. I sure as hell wasnt about to miss it. The next two months on this bus, was going to be the best ever.

"Fuck! I need food." Kuza said as he rolled out of his bunk. I was still in mine. Just starting to wake up. I looked at my phone and it was almost three in the afternoon. I sat up and looked around. Everyone was sitting in the front lobby playing video games. Not one of my favorite things to do. So I went into the back lounge and started to watch, 'Queen Of The Damned.' As I started it, I checked my twitter. That girl tweeted me again. 'About to watch Queen of the Damned again. Thank you @michaelvampire for getting me into this movie.' The fuck did I just read? This is was starting to get weird. "Whatcha doingg? Candace said walking into the the lounge. I put my phone up and looked up at the tv. "Watching a movie." I told her. "Can I join?" She asked. "Go ahead." I told her as she sat on the otherside of the couch. Shortly after that, Adam walked in, of course looking for Candace. "Babe! Come watch with us!" Candace said as Adam laid down on Candace's lap. Great. My stomach started to turn. I sat there for a few more minutes, but couldnt take it any longer. I got back up and started into the front lobby. I stopped myself once I saw Cynthia and Dj sitting together. I rolled my eyes and laid back into my bunk. I plugged my headphones into my phone and pulled out my knife. At first I inspected it, then grew bored and started tracing my tattoos with it. No I was not cutting myself, just a light trace. And as I did so, I started to think, this was going to be one long ass ride.

That next day, I woke up and we was at the venu. I was never more exctied for this! I been waiting for a long time to finally play warped tour with MY band! "Michael! Set time is here!" Ashley said as she came back on the bus. "Wow! twelve our first day?" I said shocked. We were the very first band to play on the monster engery stage. Hell I could honestly care less about what time we played right now, I just wanted to play. "Dj! Wake up! Gotta get shit done and stage set up. We play first." JJ said trying to wake Dj. "Im up!" Dj said smacking at JJ. I just laughed and walked off the bus to look around. I saw all the other buses park down a row next to ours. "Wheres the gate?" I asked myself looking around. "Over that way." I girl with black and blue hair told me. "Hey thanks." I smiled at her. "No problem. Im Julia. I play with band CherriBomb." She told me. "Nice. Im Michael and the singer of Vampires Everywhere!" I smirked at her. "Nice, I'll have to check you guys out sometime." She said looking at her shoes. "I'll do the same with you guys, but hey, I gotta go get set up." I said in a hurry. "See ya!" She yelled back as we went different ways. Such a nice girl. I will have to check them out.

"Ready Michael?" Ashley asked me as we started for the stage. I liked to walk in when it got closer to play. It makes the fans extra excited. "Fucking stoked!" I said as we got closer to the stage. I could see it from where we were at. My heart raced at the fact I was about to open the monster energy stage for warped tour. Finally we reached the stage. I climbed onto the sidestage platform and waited for my que to walk onto the stage. I watched Kuza walk across the stage as the music started to play. I took a step closer and peeped out at the fans. "Michael!!" I hurd some of them scream. Man did it feel great to hear my name being yelled. I smirked to myself as I reached my que and ran out onto the stage. I stood in the middle front part of the stage and gazed upon my crowd. They jumped and reached out to me and I havent even started the first song. I glaced over at Ashley and Candace. Candace gave me a thumbs up and Ashley smiled. I walked back to Kuza and grabbed the back of his head and started to scream right in his face. When I actually started lyrics, I through him to the side and jumped on a platform and just went with whatever came to mind. It was jumping, spining the mic, grabbing Dj and Aaron's hair, dropping on my knees and just feeling every inch of energy the crowd gave me. It was one of the best days I ever had.

After the show, we had a signing at the merch tent. The line was so long. I never saw so many fans before. I instantely had a smile on my face. Each of them came by. I shook their hand and had a short chat with each of them. It was so great to meet each fan. Unbeliveable even. So many stories about how my music has help them. I was proud to be making them feel better. "You guys have press." Ashley said after one of the warped workers talked to her. I just took pictures with a few fans. "Nice meeting you all." I said waving to them as I followed Ashley and the rest of the guys to the press room.

A few of the other guys went to different press rooms with other people. I was in one alone. I sat on the couch and introduced myself to the interviewer. He was quite eager to talk to me. "Im Jerry and today im with Michael Vampire of Vampires Everywhere!" Jerry said as the camera started. I smiled and shook his hand. "So, I want to start off with the rumors going around. Your old bass player recently got married and left the band. What happend?" He asked me. Great. The very first fucking question was about Philip. "Well you know, he was dating a pornstar and decided he couldnt devote anymore time to the band. We ended on good terms and all. But lifes not about living a happy fairy tale in a house with a perfect family. The only perfect thing, is knowing your not perfect. But to him marrying a pornstars perfect." I said laughing to myself. It was the first thing that came to mind. Yea, I may have lied about ending on good terms, but I dont want the fans going nuts on whos on whos side. Like the Ronnie Radke and Craig Mabbit things. They both are very cool dudes. "Interesting. Anything you'd like to say to him if he watches this?" Jerry asked me. "I just wish him the best of luck." I said spitting lies out of my mouth. I hope that fucker rots.

"Michael!" I heard a fan scream as I started through the venu again. Aw how cute. I small little girl. Maybe thirteen or fourteen. "Hi." I smiled at her. "Can I have a picture with you?" She asked very excited. "Sure." I said as I put my arm behind her and smiled. "Thank you so much!" She said hugging me. "Your welcome." I said as she walked off. What a nice girl. I loved the random fans. Allthough, I found the shy ones extreamely cute. "Dude! Found you." Aaron said walking up to me. "Where have you been?" I asked him. "Did like one interview and came back out here." He said laughing. "The first question I got asked was about Philip." I said frustrated. "Dont let him get to you. Its the first day of warped, lets check out some new people." Aaron said positve. Then it hit me, that CherriBomb band. I had to check them out, but they already played. Oh well maybe another day. Aaron and I decided to make our way to the stage Chelsea Grin was playing. AK was a close friend. It was awesome seeing him kick it for his first day of warped.

The day went by faster then I wanted. I was sitting in the back lounge, just hanging around, waiting for the bus to leave. I was debating on what movie to pick, when I decided to look at twitter. 'Hmmm.. Lounging in the back debating what I shouLd watch. Suggestions?' I tweeted. I went through my mentions shortLy after that tweet to see things before it. There that girl was, I swear I was about to snap my phone because of her. In a good way though. 'I know @michaelvampire says him and PhiLip ended on good terms, but I dont beLivie it.' Wow, how the fuck would she know? I was stunned. I had a slight hope she would show up to warped. I wanted to meet her. I refreshed my mentions and looked at what people said I should watch. All of them had pretty good ideas, then I saw my coven page tweet. They said I should watch Silent Hill. That was I good idea. I was in the mood to watch it anyways, so I sat my phone down and put the movie in. "What shall we watch?" Ashley said walking into the back lounge where I was at. "Silent Hill." I told her as I sat back on the couch. "Nice." She said sitting next to me. "You remember when I kinda freaked a little over that girls tweet from the other day?" I asked her. "Yea I believe so. Why?" She asked me. "I have this weird feeling about her. I just dont know what it is." I explained. "Oh, you know she is the one that runs your coven right?" She told me. "Really?" I said shocked. Ashley nodded her head. "Hmmm, even weirder. Oh well." I said as I started to watch the movie.

"Dude! Did you see what Philip put on his twitter?" Candace said walking into the lounge mid-movie. "No I didnt?" I said picking my phone up and going through twitter. I went to Philips page and read it. It said, 'Your eating maggets Michael. YEAH, you.' My eyes filled with rage. "What the fuck!? Hes talking about me and using a line from my favorite movie?! Just wait till we're back from warped tour." I said as I felt my pocket for my knife. "Michael relax. He just wants to get to you." Candace told me. "I dont care. Hes got a fucking attitude and I dont like it one bit." I said getting more angry. Candace shook her head and left the lounge. "It'll be okay." Ashley told me. "Whatever." I said as I got up and went to my bunk. I was in the worst mood ever right now.
