Chapter Five

A few days into warped tour, I found myself in New York. This was the stop to be. It was my home state. I grew up around here. I couldnt wait to explore it after our set and signing. But fuck did I hate taxis. "We got a good time." Adam said exctied as we got our time. "One. Sweet." I said with a smile. "Then you'll do signings right after at the merch tent, then head out for a night on the town!" Ashley said exctied. "Cant wait! I've missed New York." I said excited as well. "Oh Michael look who we get to meet today." Aaron said looking through his twitter. "The New York coven leaders. Sweet." I said as he showed me. "Wait!" I said still looking at his phone. "What?" He asked. "My coven leader is coming in Atlanta." I said getting excited. "Really? Rad." Aaron said with a smile.

It was beyond amazing at the signing. I got to meet a coven leader! A New York one at that! "Wow she was so nice." I said as we walked back to the bus to change. "I cant wait to get wasted!" Adam said as he sprinted to the bus. I shook my head and laughed. "Wait, I wanna see this band." I said as we pasted the 'Kevin Says Stage.' It was that CherriBomb band. "Come on." I said as we walked up sidestage and watched as they started. Wow these girls were good. "Look at their drummer!" JJ said as he watched her twirl her sticks. "Sick!" Dj commented. After their set, they came and talked to us. "Well hello stranger." Julia said to me. "Hey. Finaly got to come check you guys out." I told her. "Thats great. We caught you guys the other day, but didnt get up here." She explained. "Why not?" I laughed. "Didnt think you'd want us to." She said laughing as well. "Tomorrow!" I told her. "Alright tomorrow!" She said proud. "Where are you guys headed?" I asked them as we walked off the stage. "Oh, to our bus." The drummer girl said. "To get our clothes. We get to shower today!" Julia said. "Oh nice. We can walk with you guys to the bus." JJ said with a smile. The drummer girl smiled back at him.

"Check out whats live on youtube." Ashley said looking through twitter once we came back from a night on the town. "Our first interview of the tour! Sweet!" I said as I started to watch it. I laughed at the way I sounded. "You have issues Michael." Candace told me. I flipped her off and continued to watch my interview. "I look damn good." I smiled to myself. Ashley rolled her eyes. "Hey!" I said pushing her. "Dont hey me boy!" She said pushing me back. "I dont believe im a boy." I smirked. "Perv!" Candace yelled. "Yea!" Ashley said yelling as well. I just laughed even more. "Dude." Aaron said laughing with me. "I know." I said as I plopped onto my bunk. "You ready for tomorrow?" Kuza asked me. "Fuck ya I am." I answered him.

The next day, I woke up and was instantly in a bad mood. I kept my curtain closed. I wasn't ready to get up and face everyone yet. I looked at my phone and looked at the time. Way to fucking early to be awake and today of all days. Today was my fucking birthday. It was always a horrible day for me and it never failed. I searched the web and come to find out at mid-night, a movie theater was shot up killing 12 people. Only my fucking birthday. I tweeted with rage and through my phone to the foot of my bunk to try and go back to sleep. That didn't last very long. "Michael we play early today." Ashley said waking me back up. Now it was about twelve. "What fucking time." I said getting up from my bunk. "Two." She told me. "The one day I wanted to play late." I said rolling my eyes. I walked to the back lounge and pulled on my ripped leather skinnys and grabbed my red and black vest and walked off the bus. A few friends of mine passed and said happy birthday, I was nice and thanked them and kept walking. I looked at my twitter before I went into the gate for warped. Philip had saw the interview I did the first day of warped. Of course he had something smart to say about it, about me. I gripped my fist in anger and put my phone in my pocket before I broke it. Once I got into the gate, I saw the inflatable schedule. CherriBomb was about to be on, so I decided to go watch them play.

"Way to rip it!" I said to Julia as she came off the stage. "Thanks! Oh hey, I heard it was your birthday. Happy birthday!" She smiled at me. "Thanks." I said smiling back at her. "So how old are you now?" She asked me as we walked down the ramp. "Thats a secrect." I told her with a smirk. "Wheres JJ?" the drummer girl asked me. Nia was her name. "Um the bus I believe getting ready." I told her. "Ahh." She said as her face slightly turned red. I could tell she had a thing for him. "Your face is red." Rena, their bass player said to Nia. Nia flipped her off and continued walking. I couldnt help but laugh at them. "What?" Rena said to me. "Oh nothing." I said as we walked to the monster engery stage. "Sure." She said glancing down at ther feet. Oh wow, did this chick have a thing for me? "Michael! We're about to go on!" JJ yelled at me. I came to from my zone out and ran up the ramp and stood next to Ashley as Kuza walked around on stage. "Those the CherriBomb girls?" Ashley asked me. "Yea." I said looking back at them. They walked up the ramp and stood next to me. "Good luck." Julia told me as the music started to play. "Yea." Rena also said with a smile. Yea, she had a thing for me. I ran across the stage and attacked Kuza onto one of the platforms. I grabbed the back of his head and leaned him back on the platform and screamed in his face. I started the lyrics and shoved him off the platform and jumped ontop of it. Ashley came and nearly got ran over by Adam and pulled Kuza and the mic stand off the stage. Todays energy was crazy intense! I couldnt wait to meet the fans afterwards.
