Chapter 1 - A new world

4.36 AM

"What time is it???"

"Still 4.36 AM. We still have a few hours until school starts.."

"Let's do this!"

Well that was me and Edwin. My name is Jenkin. This is the story about how Edwin and i became the most overpowered main character in an Isekai world.

9.15 AM. School

"Finally it's recess time! Now we get to sleep..." said Jenkin to Edwin

"Wait did you guys binge-watched some stupid generic isekai OPMC anime again?" said one of our classmates, Crow

"Hey fuck off mate don't hate us. It's the anime's genre fault that it is too good." said Edwin pissed

Crow then walked away and gone to the canteen. Soon, Jenkin and Edwin started to sleep in class. They continued sleeping until the bell rings again.

After school...

"School sucks i hope we get teleported to an isekai and become OPMCs." hoped Edwin

Jenkin agreed with his friend Edwin and continued to walk to his house. After he got home from school, he layed on his bed and said "I want to be in an isekai world!" He closed his tired eyes and opened it again. He couldn't believe what he just saw. Yes, an Isekai.

"Is this a dream??? What?? Is this a real isekai??"

"Yes Jenkin! It's a real isekai!" answered someone from his back.

Jenkin turned his back and then he saw his weeb friend. Edwin.

"Edwin!!!" Is this a dream??"

"No. At first i thought i was dreaming but and then i realize this is real."

"How do you know it's not a dream?"

"Here."

After Edwin replied to Jenkin's question he punched him in the face.

"Ouch.. WTF Edwin? WTF did you hit me for? Wait.. it fucking hurts.. it's not a dream!! IT'S A FUCKING REAL ISEKAI."

"Yes.. but the problem is how do we become OPMCs?"

Jenkin thinked for a few seconds and then he told Edwin that they need to figure out what world they're inside first. They spectated the people around first. Then they realized it's a medieval aged isekai. But later they saw a lot more of people with wings. Infact, those people are fairies. They also seen some people with horns on their heads. Robots, goblins, WW2 german soldiers, centaurs, dragons. They became more sure what world they're in.

"Edwin i think i know what world is this."

"What?" asked Edwin with curiosity

"IT'S A FUCKED UP WORLD!" yelled Jenkin to Edwin's ear

"Don't yell in my fucking ear you asshole!"

They soon realized that in front of them is a building that has a huge sign on it. The sign says "Quest House"
They went inside and someone said " Would you like to do any quests?"

"Umm.. what are quests for?" asked Jenkin

"Hmm... are you from another land? you seem don't quite know what are you doing."

"Yes we are from another land."

"Alright then. Let me explain. By doing quests, you can get Tamals. Tamals are the currency of this land. I suppose you do not have any Tamals because you're new. I suggest you to take these quests so you can earn some Tamals. For beginners i recommend you to take this quest."

The lady hands over a sheet of paper that says "Trees chopping. Location : Mogu'i Lumberjack Station. Assigned by The Mayor. Rewards : 500 Tamals."

"We will take it!"

"As you can see. This quest is assigned by the Mayor himself. When you go out this door turn left, go forward, and then you will see a sign that says " Gate 2" go in Gate 2 and you will see The Mogu'i Lumberjack Station. Tools are usually provided there."

"Umm Miss? What can you do with 500 tamals."

"You can buy 3 porsion food which is usually from 20 to 30 tamals. You can also buy 2 simple clothes, a stone sword and a magic wand."

"I think it's going to be worth it." said Edwin after calculating.

"So let's go Edwin. Thank you Miss for your help. By the way, what's your name?"

"People usually call me Miss Quest. Feel free to call me that."

Jenkin and Edwin said farewell to Miss Quest and went to the Mogui Lumberjack station.
