Chapter 5 : Oh I See....

You arrived at your reception. Taehyung arrived along with you. You held your mom's hand so that she could  guide you to the venue, but what a felt was an unfamiliar piece of fabric, not your mom's soft hand. You felt another hand on top of your hand which was placed on someone else's hand. You felt someone's breath fanning against your neck as they leaned near your ear. "shall we go?", a deep husky voice asked. " T-Taehyung ?", you asked, just a bit shy to say his name. Your cheeks turned pink, Taehyung chuckled at your cuteness. His chuckle only got your cheeks more red. This was all just new to you. You had never really interacted with boys as you were much more of an introvert.

'He has really deep voice, I like it.', you thought, as you and Taehyung were walking towards the hall.

Taehyung was completely happy. His heart was feeling euphoric as what he was experiencing was all new to him. It was love at first sight for him. He felt a need to protect you. Your innocent and petite figure made him want to keep you in his warm embrace. He felt as if he must make up for your disability. He did have the fear somewhere deep in his mind, that him being a part of mafia might harm you in many ways. What if for revenge someone kidnaps you or holds you hostage?, what if he had to see innocent tears falling from your eyes because of his enemies?, he didn't want that to happen and this my friends was the cause and reasoning for his determination to protect you.

Little did he know Y/N wasn't feeling anything even close to what he was feeling. All she felt was sadness, nervousness and guilt. This weird guilty feeling was lingering in her mind as she thought that marrying him was equal to her stealing something that belonged to her sister. She felt as if she didn't deserve him. She felt as if his heart belonged to her sister.
You felt as if Taehyung loved your sister but was marrying you for the sake of it, that he didn't and never will have feelings for you. She felt as if whatever loving activities he was doing to her was only fake, just to show people. You felt as if he didn't want you as you were blind, unlike your popular, beautiful, charming & charismatic sister, Yuri.

You and Taehyung reached the hall. " Stick to me. Ok?", Taehyung said. You nodded your head as you held onto his arm. Both you stood together and greeted the guests. Suddenly someone called Taehyung's name. He didn't want to go, so he reluctantly excused himself from you.

suddenly you felt a presence near you. "Hi. Long time no see.", you heard a familiar voice, you weren't so sure who it was. "sorry if I sound rude but may I ask who you are?, you asked trying your best to sound polite. " Sorry to say but you do sound rude. Its me Tina.", the other girl said obviously trying to piss you off. " Tina?!", you asked surprised. Tina was our sister's bestie, or to be precise her only friend. Tina has always disliked you. There is no specific reason why. There was just something about you that pissed her off. One thing which she loved to do was make your life miserable. Whenever you talked to her you always felt that her words were stabbing you in the heart. As if she was purposely trying to hurt you with her words.

"I'm so glad you came to see me", you said trying to sound glad that she came. "Don't push it. I didn't come here to see you. I came here expecting you to see my sister but found out that you married him instead as she ran away", she said. " Well seems like you know everything all ready.", you said. " My, my, I wonder how bad your sister is going to feel when she comes back. I'm sure she will be really heartbroken when she sees that her little sister stole her fiancé. He must really hate you. I'm sure that he had fallen in love with your sister, and now he has to marry a blind girl like you. My, my, how bad must his luck be. Well I guess with this marriage you can get the official title of 'the sister who stole her sister's fiance'  hahahahah!", she laughed.

" well, Wish you a happy married life, I guess, tata", she said sassily. " Thanks Tina", you said as bitterness filled your mind. 

' Oh. I see. So I was right. I was right all along. I did get in between Yuri and Taehyung. I'm so useless, like a burden to the earth. She's right why would Taehyung want a blind girl like me? I'll hurt Yuri. When she comes back she will feel bad because of me. But What do I do? I didn't want this, I never wanted this to happen.', thought. Your eyes were brimming with tears threatening to fall. You didn't want to cry. You hated to cry, afraid that it will make your already weak appearance seem more weak. But this time it seemed like there was no way you could stop it.

You walked quickly trying to find a way out of the hall. You had counted the number of steps and noted direction when you came in. You walked out of the hall trying to find a place where there were no people. You finally reached a place which seemed quiet. You could feel there was nobody around you. So you automatically slid down next to the wall, hugged your knees  and kept one hand on your mouth to prevent any noise. ' Its okay Y/N, just don't make any noise. Like you always do. Don't make a sound.', you told your self in your mind as you shushed your sniffling sobs

Meanwhile....

Taehyung had finished talking with those who called him. He turned around but found that you weren't there. He searched the hall but couldn't find you. He asked your mom, if she saw you only to get her to panic going crazy searching for you. 

Taehyung went around the halls and corridoors trying to find you. He finally walked down a corridor and heard muffled sobs comin from somewhere near. He stood near the walls and looked forward and saw you crying on the ground with your hands covering your mouth. His heart almost broke seeing you in that state. He was about run towards you and hold you in his arms when he heard you say, " I didn't want this. I didn't want any of this to happen *sob*".

That was when Taehyung froze as he understood something. He walked away quietly while thinking, 'Oh. I see. I was right. I was right all along. She's just the same as others. She hates me too. She said she didn't want this to happen. She must be thinking that her life just got ruined by marrying a gangster like me. *SCOFF*. Huh. What was I even expecting. I should really stop getting my hopes high. Taehyung, remember, don't let your guard  down. She might act all lovey dovey but its all for show. Don't fall for it.'

Taehyung heard you but he didn't hear all of it. He didn't hear all of it. What you were going to say was that, You didn't want to get in between Yuri and Taehyung.

While you calmed yourself down a bit you heard your mother's voice calling you, "Y/N!, Where are you?", you quickly stood up and fixed your self.  

" Y/N darling, where were you?", your mother asked worried as she held your face in her hands.

" I had to use the restroom. While coming back I got lost", you lied.

"ok! come lets go back to the hall.", your mother said.

You reached the hall. Your mother took you to Taehyung who was looking very emotionless and cold faced at the moment. " Taehyung, honey I found her. Just hold her hand so that she knows where you are. Oh and is something wrong? you don't look so good.", your mother said. " Oh, its just that I'm tired.", Taehyung lied. " oh! ok then, I'll get going now!", your mom said as she left.

"So did you finish talking to them?", you asked as you held onto his arm, but Taehyung didn't reply. He looked away. You wondered why he didn't answer. You just kept quiet.

What you both did not understand was that both of you misunderstood each other. You thought he loves your sister and he thought you hate him. You did have feelings for him to be honest. You just weren't sure if this was what you call love.

If only Taehyung had heard what you were saying completely then all of the sufferings the both of you had to go through would not have happened...

Well just here to inform you about 2 things. Good news and bad news

Good news is that the boring part of the entire story is over. The First five chapters were meant as a sort of intro to the story and the characters so that you have a good view about them.

So from the next chapter onwards THE STORY BEGINS. HURRAY!!!!

Oh and the bad news is that there is no bad news

So hope you guys will like it. Thank you for baring with the boring chapters. Although I wouldn't call the story as bad cause I respect my work and I love myself.
