Chapter 2

I forgot to mention kiraina is fluent in Japanese and English so when she speaks Japanese Ill put it in italics but she normally speaks in English so that's regular as you most likely guessed and kagekao has a translater on his ear cause he can only speak Japanese and this is true info about him

I sprinted out of my bed to my wall and grabbed my bow an arrow and fans to help me fight if it came down to it. I saw the masked man from the ally earlier today enter my room. before I could move he punched me in the stomach. hard. I looked up the man and saw the eyes of his mask glow faintly before completely losing consciousness.

~~time skip~~ kagekaos POV (an hour or so before he breaks in)

I followed the girl back to her house and waited till night to attack her and her family. I will not let one of my victims be stolen from me by some pathetic girl. night time was coming and I was eager to kill her.

I broke in as the moon came up. It was about midnight when I broke in and went to find her in this huge house. hell it could be mistaken for a maze for how big it is.

Every room I looked in on the first floor was empty. I wasn't gonna check the others floors. I don't have time so I controlled the shadows to try and sense if any one was in there soon I felt people at the top floor so I went there. I went to the room with a couple in it who I assumed were her parents and snuck in it. I killed the father first so if he woke While I killed his wife then I wouldn't have to fight but it seems that the mother was a light sleeper so when I finished with the man she woke and saw the body of her husband then screamed.

I grit my teeth in frustration because she most likely woke the pathetic girl and who else lives here.

I start to think about the girl and admire her skill with her bow and I wonder what she could do with her fans. stop thinking! Kill her! I got closer to the mother and swiftly killed her even though she didn't deserve the quick and painless death I gave her. I heard running coming closer to the door and I turned around to see a girl with black hair and blues eyes filled with terror. I could tell she wasn't a fighter due to how she held herself and how fragile she looked.

I walked up to her as she was frozen in fear and leaped towards her chest and, using my sharp claws, I was able to put my hand around her heart and pull it out. I squeezed it just for good measure.

I grinned under my mask and went to find the girl who stole my victim. I heard shuffling in a room in the last room in the hallway. I quietly ran towards it with my claws out and ready. I entered the room and saw her with her weapons ready, looking like she was ready for a fight, even though she was in her sleeping clothes but she was to slow when I ran to her and punched her in the stomach, knocking her out efficiently.

I took her to my home in the woods that I go to when I need space from everyone from the mansion and luckily it wasn't to far from her maze of a house.

~~timeskip to when hes at the house~~(it's like 20 or so minutes)

I opened my door and went down to the basement were I have a little torture room for when I get bored of just killing and wanted to play a better game then the ones I could play in the open.

I opened the door to the basement and sat her down on the metal chair in the center of the room surrounded by the shadows in which I controlled. I grabbed the cuffs and chains and chained her down to the chair so she couldn't escape.

I went and hid, using the shadows to cover me, and wait for her to wake up. I made sure the electronic translator was on and working and the earbud was in so when she talked I could understand her. after all she must now Japanese with living in Japan but from what I can tell while I was waiting by her house she preferred English because of the book she was reading and what not.

I heard shuffling of the chains and grinned behind my mask. This was gonna be fun.

~~kirainas pov~~
I woke up and tried to move but found that I couldn't but I soon found out why. I was chained to a chair and lemme tell you, it doesn't feel nice. It's cold and uncomfortable especially with the shadows surrounding me.

I heard shuffling coming from the shadows in front of me and tensed up automatically. I still had my weapons on me but they were no use at the moment because I can't use them to cut the metal or attack the person but that would be dumb cause then I wouldn't be able to get out.

I called out to who ever was hiding in the shadows.

"Hello? I know your there no use hiding anymore" the same man in the mask from when I was on a mission came into view. I noticed his eyes weren't glowing at all. I let out a small gasp not guessing he would do something like this but then again he was a killer they are unpredictable.

"Hello miss kiraina what a pleasure meeting the person who stole my victim" said a automatic sounding voice. I was a bit concerned on why his voice was like that. Maybe it's some kinda translation thingy. Who knows maybe I'll find out later if I make it out alive.

"What do you mean and what did you do to my...family" I managed to stutter out in a soft voice like how a mother would talk to there child. I waited a few minutes before the man who's name I don't know yet chuckles  then it escalated to him bursting out laughing. His laugh sent chills down my spin and made me want to run away and forget this, but I can't really do that chained down now can I?

"Well my dear on that night you saw me I was out going to kill my victim but you got him before I could and killed him and as for your family there gone, I killed them of one by one" his weird electronic voice replied to me. I couldn't believe it. They were gone, I was free...I was free from them but what would I do now? How will I satisfy my bloodlust? How would I control myself?

Before I knew it I felt tears fall down my face and a smile grow on my face. My eyes softened but were filled with happiness but I don't think the man say my face I think he saw my tears falling

"Thank you...thank you so much! You freed me from them and for that I could never repay you" I said while looking up at him with tears running down my face, the kind smile growing, and my eyes soft.

He looked confused and shocked at what I said and probably my face to. Oh well.

"Why aren't you mad? Why aren't you screaming for them?" Even though his voice sounded electronic I could hear the confusion and anger lacing  his voice

"Well you better grab a seat, it's kind of a long story"
