Chapter 4

"hello kagekao is there something you need?"

"hello offendy and yes I have something I would like to speak with you about" said kagekao in a respectful tone knowing that he was talking to his master and some one much more powerful then he is.

"well what can I help you with?" offendy replied with a growing smirk. I got a bit nervous knowing he was going to take this the wrong way if I didn't choose my words carefully. once I got my words together and was ready to speak I started to talk to him.

"well I think I have found another proxy for you if want to take another in" I could tell I peaked his interest with the way his head turned towards me slightly. I stood in silence while he thought about it the smirk falling into a thinking gaze(I know he doesn't have eyes but I think you get what I mean). finally the silence was broken by him.

"come, sit down so I can see you and if you would like you can have some" he gestured towards the wine. I went to the chair across from him but on the way to sit down I grabbed the second glass on the table and poured some wine in it. I pushed up my mask just a bit so my mouth was showing and drank it. while walking to the chair.

"Who might this new proxy be" offendy said curiously.

"The proxy's name is kiraina utsukush-sa and is a female. She has blue hair with a yellow eye, the other is covered with her hair and an eye patch. she can control all the elements. She has a second form of which I do not know the details of. she is proficient with her bow an arrow and her twin fans." kagekao informed him with the basic details. offenderman and kagekao sat in silence for some time before offendy responed to him

"may I see her so I can judge her for myself?"

"yes but please let me talk to her and get her." kagekao responded with a calm tone, standing up and walking towards the shadows in the room so he could use them to teleport to where kiraina is. offendy nodded his head when kagekao passed him, giving him permission to go and get her.

kagekao walked in the shadows and teleported to the basement of his house where he kept kiraina

~~kirainas pov~~

kagekao left leaving me surrounded in the darkness with the light above me. I waited for him to come back which who knows how long that'll be. I kept my mind empty not thinking and kept my one uncovered eye shut to protect it from the light.

some time later I heard footsteps coming from the darkness and coming my way. I opened my eye and saw that he was back. I stayed silent so he could talk first.

"I have an offer for you"

I raised my eyebrow in a questioning matter, curious to what he could offer. he got the message to continue and explained what he had to offer.

"my offer is for you to work for my master and be free from this, but if not then I will have to either keep you here or kill you" I didn't know what to pick but I didn't have anywhere else to go so I guess I have no choice and I don't think death would be a good place for me to go.

"I accept your offer kagekao" I told him calmly with a soft smile on my face.

"I will release you and take you to meet my master, offenderman" he informed me. he took of the chains holding me to the chair. I stood up and stretched, successfully cracking my back which felt amazing.

"ill teleport us there but you have to hold on to me no matter what or else youll be lost in the shadows where no one can save you" he told me as he held out his hand for me to take. I took his hand and held it gently, not wanting to hurt him "you might feel dizzy once we arrive but itll pass soon" he informed me.

he walked towords the shadows urging me to follow him, as soon as we entered I felt as if all the light from me was being stolen. I did not like it at all. I squeezed kagekaos just to make sure he was there. it lasted for a couple more seconds before it dissapered replaced with the dizziness that he told me about. I took a deep breath trying to fill my lungs with the air that I lost in shadows.

I let go of kagekaos hand and looked at our surroundings, only to see a tall man sitting in a chair not to far from where we were standing.

"is this her kagekao" the mysterious man said in a deep entrancing voice.

"yes this is kiraina" kagekao said as he nugged me forward. I walked up by the man as kagekao followed behind me. kagekao talked to offenderman while I analized him.

once I was in front of the man I was shocked to say the least. He had no face! well besides his mouth with pointed teeth. his skin was white as paper and he wore a fedora with a trench coat opened to show his chest and black skinny jeans with boots on his crossed legs. he was kinda hot in his own way but not drop dead gorgeous. I stood straiter on instinct. if he was going to be my master I best show him respect.

"relax sweetheart, so I hear you accepted the offer correct?" he said to me. I cringed a bit from the nickname but didn't show it.

"yes that is correct sir" I replied with an unwavering voice. I was a bit tense and tried to relax a bit but that didn't work very well. before I could think something else a black tentical like thing shot itself at me with incredible speed. I dodged it and jumped towords the side grabbing my fans that were attatched to my sides.

the black thing came at me again but this time there were five others shooting at me. I tried to find the sorce of where they came from and saw that they came from offendermans back with amazing speed. as they closed in I opened my fans by them and cut them making offenderman retreat them with small but deep scratches.

"impressive, very well I will let you become my proxy but first you must go through the ritual" he told me, smirking at me with his sharp teeth showing.

"yes sir. what do you need me to do?" I asked but will soon regret.

"you, my dear, will have to say the pledge but with it comes strength, teleportation, and possibliy giving up your sanity. are you willing to risk this?" he asked with the smirk still plasterd on his face.

"I have already lost my sanity so I don't think there is must more for me to say about that" I replied, my voice still calm.

"very well then, we'll start now. repeat after me 'I am here to serve' "

"I am here to serve" I say feeling tingling in my fingers

" 'I will not disobey or lie to my master' "

"I will not disobey may master" the tingling feeling like little needles spreading all over my body

" 'I will be with my partner weather I like them or not' "

"I am a proxy and I am here to serve my master" I wanted to collapse after I finished that sentence. I was hurting and iI have a feeling that it wasn't going away. I bent over and put my hands on my knees, panting, just wanting to lay down on my bed and sleep forever.

kagekao saw I was about to collapse and knelt infront of me with his back facing me.

"get on" he said. I happily collapsed on him happy to not be standing.

" take her to the room next to yours. that will be her new room" offenderman commanded him.

"yes master" he replied walking away to the door. that was the last i saw or heard before i blacked out.
