         You ever wondered what it would be like to have never had a crush on someone, to have never placed your happiness in someone else's hand, we all know what it's like to have a crush on someone, the slightest thing they do could have an impact on you positively but also negatively, they can make your day better but also gloomy, with just a simple word or expression and yet we still give them all our love, even if its from up close or a far.

Sitting at one of the table's to the far end of the cafeteria, your eyes wondered around the interior of the building, you were just waiting for the bell to ring so that you could get to your next class, that's when you felt it, someone creeping up behind you as small hand's covered over your vision, the small yet angelic voice, was asking you to guess who it was and without a second thought, a huge grin appeared on your face as you mumbled the name of the said person.

"Jimin.."

You said holding unto his hands turning around, jimin was grinning at you as he wrapped his arm's around your shoulder, the bell ringing signaling that lunch was over, the two of you started heading out the cafeteria, walking down the hallways, as you both headed towards your next class.

You were too busy talking to jimin to notice that you had bumped into someone your shoulder hitting their's, the person stopped in their tracks as they watched you walking away, your laugh echoing through out the hallways.

As school came to an end both you and jimin started heading towards the school gates, his arm's draped over your shoulders, hearing someone call out his name, the both of you looked towards the front, jimin removing his arms from around your shoulders as he ran towards the girl that had called him, the brightest smile you had ever seen crossing over his features.

"Y/n....meet my girlfriend Ari"

Jimin said as he brought the girl closer to you, his arms wrapped around her waist, you didn't know why but your words had caught in your throat, the girl smiled at you, extending one hand, you shook her hand although your mind wasn't agreeing with your body, the only thing you felt was a slight pain to your heart and your breathing becoming uneven, you heard jimin talking to you, but your mind couldn't process what was happening, your heart didn't want to come to terms with the news.

You and jimin had been friends ever since you were kids, you had always had a crush on him, always stayed by his side, you had never once thought that jimin could be taken away from you but now, he.......he was dating someone, someone you didn't even know.

Putting on a fake smile, you greeted her, although your mind was screaming at you and your heart felt like it had been crushed by a sledge hammer, you smiled, knowing to yourself that you had no reason to be upset, no reason to feel such a way, it was something that didn't matter to anyone for the simple fact of, you were just his best friend and nothing more.

"Nice to meet you"

You said smiling at the girl, after your introductions, jimin told you that he was going to follow Ari home and that he'd meet you at your house later, waving goodbye to them, you watched as they exited the school grounds as soon as they were out of sight, your smile faltered, your hand falling to your side as you clenched them into fist.

Tears brimming at your eye lids, hearing a honking behind you, you turned around swiftly to see what the commotion was about, the honking became even more frantic as the stranger upon the bike tried to pull on the breaks, the bike swerving just close to your feet as he flew off the bike, his entire body landing on top of yours as the two of you fell unto the ground, groaning in pain, you sat up pushing him off of you.

"Sheesh sorry"

The man said as he stood up dusting himself off, extending a hand to help you up, brushing his arm aside, you stood up on your own, earning a shrug from him as he sat back down on his bike, pulling his helmet over his head, he looked towards you, when he had heard sniffling, seeing tears coming out of your eyes, he didn't know what to do, he didn't think he had hurt you that badly, biting down on his bottom lip, he grabbed a spare helmet.

"Need a lift?"

The stranger said gesturing for you to take the helmet, you were about to protest but seeing this, he came off of his bike, placing the helmet unto your head, before placing you unto the bike as he balanced it, you were too out of it to protest so you just let him be, after climbing unto the bike, kicking up the stand, he begun to rev it up as the motor started making loud noises.

"Hold on tight ok"

The guy said as he started riding through the gates of the school, laying your head down unto his back, you wrapped your arms around his waist, holding unto him tightly not wanting to fall off of the bike as night fell the two of you soon arrived at your house, climbing off of the bike, you handed him the helmet, shifting from one foot to the other, you looked at him as he waited to hear what you had to say.

"Thank you"

You said to him, nodding in response, he muttered a "don't mention it", before riding away, sighing you turned around, heading up your drive way to your house, your phone started ringing in your pocket, with out checking the caller ID, you answered.

"Y/n, I'm sorry i can't come over tonight, i have to take Ari out"

Jimin said on the other end of the phone, saying it's ok, you ended the call, clenching your phone tightly in your hand, you felt the tears starting to cascade down your cheeks, the rain beginning to fall as your clothes became soaked, you didn't know why you didn't just run inside after feeling the first drop but in that moment, your mind was only whirling with thoughts of jimin, looking up at the sky, you smiled lightly, the painful feeling in your heart returning, this is where it end's, this is where you needed to start loving him as more of a friend, cause to him that's what you were, just a friend.
