Chapter 4: "Bad things in life always get better."

"No! No! No! Y-you can't tell anyone about this!!" I cried, my eyes tearing up, a little. "Rin, if no one knows about this, the bullying won't stop. Regardless, of what you say, I'm telling on them." Len decided, as he got up and walked out of the cafeteria, heading to the principal's office. I dashed up to him, in fear, four inches behind him. "Len!! No! You can't!" I shouted, fearfully, still walking behind the blonde. "Rin, I'm not letting them, get away with this, I'm telling the principal." Len refuted, as he continued walking towards the office. "P-please, Len!! I-i-if the principal knows, they'll hurt me!" I responded shaking, with my eyes starting to get wet and watered, up. "No, they won't! I PROMISE, I'll protect you from them!" Len responded, as he pushed the door to the principal's office, open. Miku's mom, the secretary looked up from her work. "Can I see the principal?" Len asked. "Yes, you may. She's down that hall." The silhouette answered, as she pointed down the hall on our left. Len nodded and started to walk, where she told him. I felt fear, rise up in me. "Len, please! You can't tell anyone!" I reminded him, following right behind him. Len sighed. "I have to, Rin. I'm sick of Miki and her crap." Len responded, as he pushed the door open. The principal, was Mrs. Megurine, Luka's mom. She had long, silky, light pink hair and sky blue eyes. "Good afternoon, Len. How can I help you?" She wondered, as she adjusted her chrome, black glasses, a little. "Don't do it, Len!" I whispered. Len ignored me. "I want to talk to you." Len answered. "Oh. Okay. What is it, sweetheart?" Mrs. Megurine asked. Len let out a long, sigh. "I wanted to talk about a problem, this girl... has been having." Len started, as he pointed to me. I looked down, shyly, letting my blonde bangs, cover my eyes. "Oh, Rin dear, are you okay?" Mrs. Megurine inquired, fear filling her face. I nodded. "Ever since, last year... she's been bullied, nonstop, physically and verbally. She won't stand up for herself, because she's scared and shy. I'm standing up for her but the bullying won't end. I want her to be happy, but she seems depressed." Len explained, for me. Mrs. Megurine's soft blue eyes widened. "Oh, my!! Is there any specific names of who is bullying her?!" Mrs. Megurine wondered. "Everyone, except for my friends and me, is bullying her, but it's mostly Miki and sometimes Galaco and Lily." Len responded. "Okay, I will be sure to have a word with them! Thank you for telling me and Rin, this problem, will be fixed!" She reassured me. I nodded, slowly. "You two, may leave and have a great day." She told us. Len nodded, as he grabbed my hand and led me out of the office. I felt tears, rise in my eyes. "See, Rin, it wasn't that bad! Now, she knows and it'll end!" Len exclaimed. I started to sob. "Rin, what's wrong?!" Len worried. I threw my head, into his chest and sobbed non-stop. Tears didn't stop and Len hugged me, close to him. "Shhh!! It's okay!" Len cooed. "Miki, Lily and Galaco are gonna hate me, even more, now!" I sobbed. "It doesn't matter, Rinny! They can't hurt you!" Len told me. I pulled myself, off of him and wiped a few tears, from my eyes. Len smirked and I was not sure why. "I'll be right back!" Len informed me, in a sneaky tone. Len went away and I was confused, with what he was doing and where he was going."

"I couldn't stop smirking. I had an idea. Miki was gonna pay for hurting my crush... what's that expression for?! You really didn't think I liked Rin?! Well duh, einstein!! It's so obvious, I like her!! Gosh, guys!! Anyways, I ran into the cafeteria expecting to find Miki, because she stays, there to do her makeup or whatever stupid, pointless stuff girls do! I don't know, I'm a boy, what do you expect?! I went in and saw Miki, on her phone at one of the tables. I walked up to her. She looked up at me and flashed a smile. "Len-kun!! Hi, cutie!! How's it going?!" She asked. I glared at her, angrily in disgust."
