A dull mumble tugged Jimin out of his rest that night. The voice was quiet and serious. Once he pried his sleepy eyes open, he caught view of Yoongi standing shirtless with his back to him. His phone was pressed to his pierced ear.

"Hyung, we have a Code E.... Yes, I'm sure... Jimin's house... He's asleep, so I'm trying to be quiet..." A sigh resonated throughout the dark room. "Alright. I'll be there soon. I don't have my bike, so it'll take a little longer... Okay, goodbye."

As Yoongi turned, Jimin quickly shut his eyes and feigned sleep. His steps were light as he crossed the room. Gentle fingers carded through his hair.

"Oh, Jimin..." he whispered. "God, I wish you stayed far, far away from me."

Jimin's stomach dropped, and sadness overcame him in waves.

Yoongi continued on, "I promise I'll do whatever I can do keep you safe, though. I don't think I could live with myself if anything happened to you. I'm sorry. I wish you knew what you've gotten yourself into. I wish I could have warned you."

The shadow disappeared, and the window was pushed open. Sounds of weight hitting grass. Yoongi was gone after that.

What was he talking about?

Why did he rush off so quickly?

Protect him from what?

A soft buzz vibrated the sheets below him.

yoongi: hey dolly. i'm sorry for disappearing like this. something important came up. thanks for a great night, and i promise i'll make it up to you. i'll explain when i can.

Jimin frowned at that but decided to leave it for the moment. Glancing at the time, it read 3:40 AM.

Holy shit, I'm gonna regret this.

He sat up and grabbed his laptop from nightstand. The Google search bar appeared on the screen after it powered on. He typed in:

Local Gang BANGTAN SONYEONDAN Wreaks HAVOC in DOWNTOWN DAEGU.

10 August 2016

Late last night, authorities were called to a scene in downtown Daegu after gunshots and loud arguments shook the peace of a small neighborhood. An anonymous resident recalled catching a glimpse at what seemed to be at least fifteen male teenagers shouting and physically fighting for about ten minutes until bullets flew. Moments later, police rushed to the area only to discover nothing but bullet shells and a red haired boy barely fleeing successfully.

Police and other residents have assumed the culprits to be the infamous gang of unruly gangsters, Bangtan Sonyeondan, a gang begun by none other than mobster, Min Choi. Currently, the suspected gang leader, Min's  youngest son, has been brought into questioning several times, but he is adamant on his silence. His identity has been forbidden for the media to release at this time.

If you or someone you know has any information on any gangs, this night, Bangtan Sonyeondan, or any other crime, please do not hesitate to call Crimestoppers at the toll-free number-

Aside from that, there was not much else on the subject. Bangtan Sonyeondan, for a "locally infamous" gang, was under the radar for the most part.

One thing confused him, though. How could there be nine others when there was only six in Bangtan? There being fifteen out that night simply didn't add up, so there was no possible way for it to have been Bangtan. Who was the red head? Who were the other nine? And why isn't the media covering that as well? When was Yoongi brought in.
