Chapter 4

Cora

I woke up crying from the nightmare that I just had about my family getting killed agian. I think about walking down to Jaspers room but I decide not to.

One hour later I am still awake thinking about that nightmare. I finally decide to go to Jaspers room. I walk down the hall and open the door.

"Jasper are you awake?", I ask looking into the dark room.

All of a sudden I see two green glowing eyes staring at me.

"Yeah, you can't sleep can you?", he asked.

"No".

"Do you want to come lay down with me, I mean if you don't want to you don't have to"he said quickly.

"Yeah I would like to lay with you", I said walking over toward the bed.

He lifts up the blankets and I start to crawl into the bed. Once I am in the bed he puts the blankets back down. That's when I realize he doesn't have a shirt on. It doesn't bother me that much it is just he is so hot with all those muscles.

"If you want me to I can put a shirt on" he says eying me. Crap I didn't realize I was staring.

"No, it's fine", I say laying my head down.

The next morning I wake up with Jaspers arm over me, and when I look over I realize how close my face is to his. All of a sudden he yawns and I can see his fangs.

As he moves his arm he says "sorry".

"No, it's fine Jasper", I say setting up.

"Oh, okay, well I am going to go make breakfast. Di you like pancakes?", he asked walking out of the room.

"Yes, I love pancakes", I say a little to excited. He just smiles and walks out. I start yelling at myself for falling for him.

As I walk out into the kitchen Jasper is putting pancakes on the table.

"Cora do you want syrup?", he asked smiling.

"Yes, please".

He pours the syrup on my pancakes and I start to eat. The next thing I know he reaching across the table and wiping syrup off my face.  I start to blush so I look away. When I look back he pushes some hair behind my ear. The next thing I know he is leaning in toward me. Our lips are now inches away.
