I walked out and looked up at the setting sun. I looked around then smelt the air, hoping to find something to hunt. Just as I was about to turn and go the other way I caught the sent of a human. I began to run as fast as I could toward the scent. I eventually reached the edge of a small town. I looked around and saw a girl about 16, she was laying on the ground crying. I thought to myself she would be easy to hunt. I began to walk toward her but than stopped.
I looked down at her she was beautiful, with long red wavy hair and green eyes. She didn't notice me and I was glad I could just walk away but something inside of me told me to help her, but I didn't know how.
I leaned down and tapped her shoulder. She than looked up at me and scooted back against the wall.
"Hey it's okay I'm not going to hurt you I am here to help you. Do you want to tell me what is wrong?", I asked.
She nodded her head than begin to speak, "my family was just killed by a pack of vampires", she said sobbing.
Of course it was my own kind. I mean we are blood thirsty all the time.. well most of us are.
"Do you want to come home with me", I blurted out not even thinking.
"I don't even know your name".
"Jasper".
"JASPER I AM NOT GOING HOME WITH SOME RANDOM STRANGER!"
Just than it started to storm.
"Well than suit yourself", I said walking away.
"Wait I will come I have nowhere else to stay".
