Trixie's POV:
I grabbed my pink cloak, the one I had worn the day I met Katya, and walked Out the door while everyone got ready for dinner. Hopefully I would be home in time for the meal.
I walked to the garden doors, there was less of aa chance to be caught going this way, and pushed them open. Since the garden was already at the back of the palace, I opened the tall metal gate and walked to the waters further back.
I saw 3 figures in the distance, it must have been the two men and Katya. I came closer and realized it wasn't. It was Pearl, Violet, and Ginger.
"Unh, what are y'all doin' here?" I asked, trying to sound natural. Ginger pushed Pearl and Violet behind her. "We know why you're here." She narrowed her dark, cold eyes at me. "To look at the water?" I asked, she knew it was an excuse. "No. Pearl, Violet. Take her back to the palace. The three who tricked her will be put in the dungeons upon arrival on my watch." Ginger looked at my best friends.
Pearl and Violet looked at each other before walking towards me and linking all of our hands.
We all walked back into the castle and got ready for dinner. Tonight was elimination night. Pearl wore a long white dress and a fluffy white matching shawl, which Violet claimed had been stolen from her. Violet had a purple gown, it was pastel and a violety color at the same time. I had on a pink dress with a flower crown. It was a long gown, flowers along the edges. It was one of my favorites.
Pearl was totally staring at Violet, and I found it quite amusing. We all walked down the corridor to the dining room where all the girls should be at the moment.
Pearl pushed open the doors and we all walked inside. I took the seat across from my mother. "Trixie!" She smiled at me, so I returned the grin, then went back to picking at my food with my fork.
A couple hours later my mother stood from her seat and curtains to the left of me opened up. There was a wooden stage that my mom stepped onto, holding a microphone in her hand.
"Hello, Darlings! As of tonight, one of you dear royals will be sent home." She spoke. My eyes widened. I didn't want to hurt anybody. "Trixie," my mother motioned for me to step on the stage. "Hello!" I smiled nervously, looking around the room. I had to choose someone. "Sweetie, who doesn't fit your linings?" My mother asked. Unhhhh oh no. How do I not hurt anyone? "Trixie?" "Oh, uh... Princess Banana Lady. I'm so, so sorry." I said, looking at the dark haired girl.
She shrugged, and walked away as if she didn't want to be there in the first place. "Great!" My mom smiled, a little too preppy and grabbed the microphone from me. Now, once again I had to draw a name to go on athe 'date' with. Violet came out with the hat, and smiled at me. I smiled back and reached in, pulling put a perfectly folded slop of paper.
Princess 'Uglina'
Minutes later, Uglina and I were in my room just talking, like friends. "I have a question," I asked the girl. She nodded signalling for me to ask. "Where did Uglina come from?" "Oh, it was my mother's last name. She had cancer and passed away, so in her job or, I shaved my head and I now go be Uglina instead if my father's, Zamolodchicova." Then everything froze. Katya.
Where was she? I turned to Sasha. "You know Katya, right?" I asked hesitantly. "Yes, I believe we have been acquainted." She stood up to be at my level. "Why do you ask?" "She may be in danger, and she has the same last name as your father." I told her. "I knew she seemed familiar, I never really put it into consideration, but she may... I had a sister, Trixie. I think it may be her." Pasha spoke, in a scared tone, an anxious expression forming on her face.
"What kind if trouble?" She asked me. "Big, big trouble. I think first we check the dungeons." I told her. She nodded and the two of us ran down the many flights if stairs, hand in hand.
We walked past many cells, not seeing Katya, or her past captors. We walked down to the last floor, and surely enough, all 3 were there in cells.
The two men were on the floor, they looked to be dead. Katya was standing, her back leaned against the metal pulls of a cell. "Katya!" I whisper shouted, pulling Sasha towards her cell. Katya turned around. "Trixie?" She asked the air, before noticing we were on her other side. She stood still, her face not moving once she had seen us. She stayed like that for a while, before stepping back holding her head in one hand. It looked like she had been in pain.
"Are you okay?" Sasha asked her. "Yeah..." she slowly opened her eyes, a hand still placed on her head. "I...I think I had some sort if flash back." Katya admitted. "What did you see?" I asked. "Sasha. I saw Sasha." She looked at us. "Kat-" Sasha tried to say, but was interrupted by Katya. "Where is home?" She asked.
