Misunderstood -August Alsina Love Story

Chapter 2

The Next Morning- 11:30 am

Jason was snoring. Loud. So I got up and headed to the kitchen. Everybody else was sleeping on the floor but Aubrey who had moved to the big leather couch Aug has. Aug has been my nigga since highschool. I love em like a brother. Jason and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary last week. But I guess I should start on breakfast.

Since I didn't really know how to cook I just got some microwaveable grits, with some frozen waffles, and made some eggs. I knew how to do that. Jason is the cook in our house, I don't go near the kitchen unless it's to get a snack or something.

Just then I felt arms wrap around my waist, "good morning baby", Jason said. I turned around and kissed him. "Morning babe". "What'd you make for breakfast?", he asked. "Microwaveable stuff, and eggs", I laughed. He shook his head, "move baby. I'll make breakfast".

"I'll help you tho baby", I offered. He agreed and we started on the real breakfast. I made some more eggs while Jason started on pancakes. A few minutes later we had put bacon in the oven and August came into the kitchen.

"Mornin y'all", he said groggily. "Aye my niggaa!!", I screamed. Auggie shook his head, "shut that shit down, it's to early in the morning and Aubrey is still sleeping so don't wake her up". Jason piped up. "Aww August has a soft side". "Nigga shut the fuck up", he said. We laughed.

Then Aubrey came in. "Why y'all making so much noise", she asked yawning. Me, August and Jason all yelled, "Good Morning Aubrey!". She gave us a stank look then went upstairs. "I'm going to take a shower", she said.

"She always showering", August said. Me and Jason looked at him. "Unlike yo stank musky ass", I said, "I remember that time when you didn't shower for". He cut me off. "I told you my shower went out", he glared at me. I laughed.

We all sat down and started eating. About 20 minutes later Aubrey came down in some sweatpants, an old tee and her socks. I saw August's face light up when she came down. I think he's starting to like her, but he needs to slow down he just met her yesterday.

"Your breakfast is in the microwave Rey", he said smiling. She shook her head. "Kay, thanks Aug, Mel when are we gonna head out?". I shrugged. "You wanna leave now?", I asked.

She nodded her head yes then went upstairs, to get dressed probably. "Hey what are we going to do all day?", Jason asked. I pecked his lips.

"Y'all will figure it out. But don't have no hoes cause I will beat yo ass". "Well damn", August said. I glared at him, "you too nigga".

Since we were just going to the mall I didn't put on anything special. Even though my parents abused me they still bought me clothes so I had things to wear. I put on a Parental Advisory shirt with the back ripped up, acid wash destroyed jeans, and my Oreos. My hair had kind of puffed out, I needed to wash it when I got back, so I put it in a bow on top of my head, grabbed my 5s and ran downstairs.

"Okay I'm ready Mel!", I said as I made it downstairs. Aug was gonna let us take one of his cars so he threw me the keys to his red Porsche.

"Be careful with my car ladies", he said. I laughed, "why you being so 'sophisticated' ". He chuckled, "Want me to call you a bitch instead of a lady?". "Hell no", I spat, "Kay we're out niggas, come on Mel".

I have August a hug, Mel have Jason a kiss. Then we were on the way to the mall, and then to get our nails done. Mel had on acid wash high waist shorts and a purple sweatshirt that said 'Dope' in black and she had on Grape 6s.
