Misunderstood -August Alsina Love Story

Chapter 10

There was an awkward silence. I looked at August in disgust. It's funny how he had supposedly fallen for me but had a hoe on the side. I'm not gonna let this bother me.

Savannah giggled, "I'm Savannah like August said. It's nice to meet you all".

Then she looked at August, "you didn't tell me you had friends with you Auggie". He rolled his eyes, "you didn't give me a chance".

"Well um.. I'm Aubrey and this is Adrian", I said sighing. "Nice to meet you", Adrian said bluntly. I glanced at him.

"And you must be Chris Brown", she said smiling, "I'm a huge fan. I have all your CDs. It's so great to meet you like-". Chris cut her off.

"Nice to meet you too", he said while looking down at his phone.

"August", I said, "we need to find Jason and Melanie".

He nodded, "come on y'all".

Savannah happily hooked onto his arm and walked beside him like a dirty ass parasite.

Chris was still looking at his phone but had started walking behind August and his hoe.

Then Adrian reached down and grabbed my hand.

"Come on", he said smiling.

Melanie just pisses me the fuck off. I don't even know why she would care who I was texting. We aren't even dating.. well I mean not really. Taking a break means we broke up right..?

Anyway, after that little incident I rushed out the store so I wouldn't do anything I would regret in the future.

I looked around the mall until I saw a Foot Locker. Might as well get me a pair of shoes while I'm in here. I found some red and black Jordan 13s.

Quickly, I got the person working to get my size and went to the cash register, paid, then walked out.

I went into a few more stores like Champs and shit like that. After around 15 or so minutes my phone rang in my pocket.

The caller ID said:

Alsina.

I picked up.

"Yo"

"Where you at nigga"

"Umm", I looked up at the store in front of me, "in front of Journeys"

"Well meet us at the food court in 5 minutes"

"Ight man"

"Bye"

And he hung up the phone. I started walking towards the food court. Mel was on my mind. I guess I was wrong for texting that girl Alexis.

We're "taking a break" and I have no right to be communicating with other women. I should apologize.

Yea. That's what I'll do.

I was in tears. It's like he doesn't even care anymore.. Aubrey can't even talk right now because she's with Adrian.

I stumbled around the mall blinking the tears away. It was embarrassing to be walking around in a mall with tear stains marking the side of your face. My phone vibrated in my pocket. I got a call and the caller ID said it was Aubrey. I pressed the phone to my face and spoke, trying to disguise my voice in the process so she wouldn't know I was crying.

"Hey Melanie, you okay?", Rey asked. There was a lot of noise in the background, so she must be in the food court. I heard August's loud ass in the back too.
