Jenna rushed inside, wearing Bridget's jacket. Bridget followed her, closing the door.

"It's so cold!" Jenna said

"I know..." Bridget replied "I had a feeling the weather would be so chaotic today..."

Jenna sat near the fireplace, looking out at the blizzard outside from the window. "Atleast it's warm inside". Jenna suddenly felt guilty, taking off Bridget's jacket. "Are you sure you didn't need this on our way back here?"

"Don't worry about me" Bridget smiled, sitting next to Jenna. "Do you feel warmer now?" Bridget held her hands, feeling how cold they were. "So that's a no?"

"I'm okay... what about you?"

"I said not to worry about me" Bridget said sweetly, then she stood up.

"Where are you going?" Jenna asked.

"I'm gonna go get you a blanket and some hot chocolate. Stay here."

"I don't need all of that..." Jenna protested weakly

"You sound like you do. I'll be quick, okay?"

Jenna sighed. "Okay...".

Bridget left the room. First, she went upstairs to get a blanket for Jenna. She came back downstairs into the living room. "See? I'm back already" She declared.

"Good, I missed you already"

Bridget laughed softly, then she wrapped the blanket around Jenna. "There you go!" She said sweetly.

Jenna smiled. "Thank you.."

"No problem. I'll be back in a few minutes, okay? I'll make you some hot chocolate and then we can talk"

"Okay" Jenna said

Bridget left the living room and went into the kitchen.

Jenna though about how kind Bridget was to her today. Before, Bridget found it hard to show her emotions for Jenna, but recently, she's been doing so many little things to make Jenna happy. Jenna thought of the small things she did that made her happy, and she instantly felt warm again. She smiled to herself.

Just then, Bridget walked in with the promised hot chocolate. She handed it to Jenna, then sat beside her sharing the blanket.

"Thank you, Bridget... really"

Bridget smiled, putting an arm around Jenna. "It's the least I could do, you're my girlfriend after all... I wanna take care of you!"

Jenna laughed softly. "You always put my needs before yours... are you sure you're not cold?"

"I'll tell you a secret..." Bridget whispered "I was... but I'm not anymore. Wanna know why?"

"Why?"

"Because your smile warmed my heart!"

Jenna laughed. "Since when were you so cheesy?!" She asked playfully.

Bridget pretended to be hurt. "Jenna... how could you call me that? Cheesy? So cruel..." She said, trying to contain her laughter.

Jenna put her cup of hot chocolate away on the table and hugged Bridget. "In a good way... I'm so happy that you say stuff like that"

Bridget kept up her act. "How can being cheesy be Good?"

"Well, when some people do it it's awkward and cringy... but when you do it, it's so cute because you can tell you really mean it!" She hugged her tighter, cuddling up to her. "I hope you can forgive me... for being so mean and calling you cheesy... I'll never do it again if you don't like it"

Bridget laughed. "You take what I say so literally... so what if I'm cheesy? If it makes you laugh or smile, then I'm fine with embarassing myself." She said, kissing Jenna's forehead.

Jenna smiled. "I wouldn't say you embarrass yourself... I think it's cute" She said playfully.

"Hmm... Well, if you like it and think it's cute, that's all that matters to me. Should I think of more cheesy things to say?"

"Yeah! Because I love when you're passionate about how much you like me... it makes me feel special..." Jenna blushed

"You are special. You're like... a snowflake. You're unique and beautiful, different to all the other snowflakes" Bridget said, taking inspiration from the weather outside. "There's more of that cheesy talk..."

Jenna kissed her. "And I love 'that cheesy talk'" She said.

They talked until, eventually, the two fell asleep in each others arms as the snow outside continued to fall.
