the babysitter + jungkook & taehyung [REVISING/REWRITING]

kristine sighed. she stared blankly at the clock that ticked over the chalkboard... she twiddled her fingers, anxiously waiting on the school bell to ring. she couldn't wait to go home and take a nap. she suppressed a yawn as she began doodling on her notebook to pass time. a couple minutes passed before the bell finally rang, everyone immediately shot up. kristine gathered her belongings, and flew out the door at the speed of light.

thank god, she thought the day would never end. she reached her locker, opened it and grabbed her backpack. when she closed her locker she jumped in surprise when she found jungkook standing next to her.

"hey." he said with a smirk. "jesus christ you gave me a heart attack!" she slapped his arm. "ow! jeez sorry" he laughed as he slung his arm around her shoulders. the two walked out of the school together.

"oh shoot i forgot i'm supposed to meet the guys after school today- i'll catchya later krissy." he smiled while ruffling her hair. "when am i going to meet them? you always talk about them." she pout.

he groaned, "you will someday just let me have you all to myself a little longer okay?" he smiled. she eye'd him, "whatever."

he gave her a pout, "fine you'll meet them soon, i promise." he held his pinky out to her.

truth is, no matter how pathetic it sounds.. he was afraid of one of them taking her away from him. they'd been best friends for forever and he's grown so attached and infatuated with her that he didn't want to lose her. he knew that at least one of them would be bound to fall for her too, she was so perfect in his eyes. especially with the way he talked about her to them, he was convinced they were all already in love with the thought of her, which he couldn't blame them for.

she wrapped her pinky around his and their thumbs connected. she smiled at him. "see you tomorrow", he pinched her cheek before walking away.

kookie was pretty much her only friend besides seokjin, minhyuk and a couple of acquaintances. and of course seokjin was part of jungkook's group of guy friends so every time jungkook wasn't available, jin wasn't either.

kris frowned knowing she'd have to walk him by herself today. jungkook usually walks her to and from school. when she reached her apartment she was greeted by an envelope on her front door matt. she picked it up and stared at it as she walked inside her apartment. she sat on her bed and opened it. great.. today made four weeks that she hadn't paid the rent. she was incredibly stressed, she knew she had to find another way to make some more money. she worked at a cafe a few days out of the week but that alone wasn't cutting it.

she grabbed her laptop and began searching the internet for jobs that were hiring around her area. after a half an hour of searching she finally found something that caught her attention, "in need of a babysitter asap.." she read the post over, "hmm", she hummed as she clicked it and read more, "a seven year old boy blah blah blah 6 year old girl..blah blah bla-oh! they live two streets away from me! this is perfect, i love kids and my availability is flexible!" she quickly typed an email up to the woman who posted the babysitting ad. she crossed her fingers in hope's of a reply.

she laid on her bed awaiting a reply when her eyes began to flutter and her head started to bob. she eventually fell asleep until she was awaken by a buzzing sound. "huh..?" she opened one eye and examined her laptop screen. she received an email from mrs. kim. "you're hired!" it read. she gasped and quickly opened the email, she read it over and squealed as she blanket kicked. she was hired! she was excited and surprised at the same time, she had only sent the email an 5 hours ago and was already hired.. she hoped it was legit. they must be really desperate. she thought.

"please arrive at my house at 5 p.m sharp tomorrow night for your first job!"

woah really?! great! she sent the woman a message back assuring her that she'd be there and thanked her for such a wonderful job opportunity. she glanced at the time at the bottom of the screen. the message was sent at 9:56. she didn't how late it had gotten. she hoped it wasn't too unprofessional of her to reply so late. she let out a loud yawn and set her laptop aside. she had two exams that afternoon and she was pooped. she was thankful tomorrow was friday.

her cat suddenly jumped up on the bed with her, "oh hey paprika, guess what?" she spoke to the animal as she pet her. "mommy's a babysitter now!" she giggled knowing very well that the cat wouldn't respond nor did she care. her cat settled beside her, "goodnight rika." she smiled.
