The boys arose from their slumber, and shot up in their seats. James was a bit queasy but mostly excited. He was usually quiet and reserved unless around his family. Thoughts were racing through his overactive head and he was scared not only about the sorting cermony but even the train ride to Hogwarts. Whereas Teddy was ecstatic, he was always so outgoing and now his bubbly personality showed more than ever. He was clearly a Hufflepuff, you could tell by looking at his bright smile and rosy cheeks.

They climbed out of their seats, and Harry and Draco helped them carry their trunks to the train. Harry couldn't believe it, his children we're going to Hogwarts! His first real home, the first place he ever felt excepted. A grin spread across his face, which was extremely contagious and made Draco smile as well.

"Are you boys excited?," exclaimed Draco.

Both boys responded simultaneously, "Yeah!"

When they got into the station Harry handed the boys their tickets, it was almost time.

"Wait, so remind me again...in order to get the the Hogwarts express we have to run through a wall?" said Teddy, very confused.

Harry chuckled, " Yeah. It sounds strange, believe me but it's easier than it sounds."

A few moments later they stopped at the wall between stations 9 and 10. Harry looked to the boys and to Draco before saying, "Okay, are you ready to go to station 9 3/4?"

Both boys nodded and Harry looked to Draco before grabbing James' hand. " We'll go together. And remember to be quick and don't  be too nervous."

"Okay," replied James' slightly trembling "I'm ready."

Harry smiled slightly "On three. One, two....three."

Both ran to the wall, James eyes clenched tightly, nails digging into his dad's hand. Suddenly they were through the barrier and in a brand new station. A bright-red, shiny train stood on the tracks, glimmering . Kids were shouting with glee all around. Owls screeched and cats meowed softly as kids pulled their trunks on board, saying good-byes to their parents and settling down in a compartment next to their friends. A maroon, mahogany sign hung overhead, which read in big, bright letters 9 3/4. James looked around in amazement. All of these kids were wizards and witches, with beautiful wands in their hands and freshly pressed black school robes on.

Suddenly Teddy and Draco burst through the barrier as well and Teddy squealed with delight. He was anxious to discover the magic his family had told him about and meet different kids just like him. But he was also so curious to learn about his mother and father from other people besides Draco and Harry.

"This is it," said Draco, grabbing Harry's warm hand and squeezing it "You two are actually leaving for school."

Harry drew in a breath, "I can't believe it honestly. It's seems as if yesterday I was the one boarding the train for Hogwarts!"

"C'mon dads. Don't get all emotional now," said James.

Harry looked as if he were about to say something but just then he had spotted Hermione and Ron. He walked over to their family, Draco and the kids trailing behind. When he got there Ron was standing next to Hermione, holding Hugo's hand, his hair pushed back nicely and his suit pressed. Hermione was hugging Rose, cupping her head in her hand, on the verge of tears. "I love you so much. Have fun!"

She let go of Rose and suddenly noticed Harry standing there. She let out a gasp and embraced him in a warm hug. "I can't believe she's actually going!"

Harry chuckled, "I know. It seems as if yesterday they were merely babies."

"Time flies," replied Hermione, her voice trailing "How have you been?"

"I've been well. Getting the boys ready for school, you know," Harry said "How have you been?"

"Good for the most part. Work has been a bit crazy these last couple weeks, but good besides that," Hermione said, noticing as well as Harry Ron and Draco chatting.

"That's great to hear!" said Harry. "Anyway, Teddy, James. You want to be getting aboard now."

"Okay dad." said James, going to Harry then to Draco hugging them. "See you at Christmas!"

"Bye!" said Teddy, grabbing his trunk and hauling it up the steps after Rose.

"Don't forget to write!" yelled Draco, Hermione and Harry simultaneously.

Rose rolled her eyes, "We won't mum!"

The doors closed and Hermione started crying and hugging Ron. "They'll be okay," said Ron stroking her hair.

"I know," replied Hermione. "I'll just miss her!"

Ron smiled and waved goodbye to the kids on the train as it started to go. Meanwhile, Draco grabbed Harry's hand in his and stood there watching the train roll out of the station, as Harry rested his head on Draco's shoulder. They both had wide grins spread across their faces.

Draco pressed a gentle kiss to  Harry's warm forehead and suddenly the train was gone.

"Good luck," whispered Harry.
