Hazel Fisher and Kaleb Shapiro... I always shipped them in the best mates way until one day that changed. These two are from Delinquents!

Hazel Fisher stood with her arms crossed next to her taller twin brother. Slowly she was getting fed up with the audacity her brother had to rant about her best friend, right in front of her.

"Hazel are you even listening?" Zack demanded as he looked down at his sister. Hazel lifted her eyes lazily "No I stopped listening long ago" she answered truthfully. Zack rolled his eyes "I don't even know why I bother" he muttered as he began to walk away.

Now let me tell you, Kaleb Shapiro always had a knack for turning up at just the right moment and so it was only natural for Hazel to spot Kaleb's tall figure. "Kaleb!" she shouted as she pushed past her brother and ran to him. Kaleb braced to be jumped on but Hazel stopped about a metre away from him.

"Hello Hazel" Kaleb said almost robotically as he pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose.
Hazel grinned "What's new?" she asked as she fell into step beside him. Kaleb shrugged "Nothing really" he answered quickly "Does your brother hate me still?" he asked

Hazel nodded "You bet your top shelf he does" she said as she shoved her hands in her pockets "And he has done ever since we teamed up against him in Spoons" she added with a laugh

Kaleb shook his head "It's quite silly is it not?" he asked "He has no reason to not like me" he stated matter of factly

Hazel nodded again "Trust me I know... his reasoning for not liking you is that he knows things" she said as she rolled her eyes

Kaleb shrugged "I can't please everyone now" he muttered "He hangs out with the Mangoes sometimes that would be a reason he doesn't like you" Hazel said interrupting Kaleb's mutter. Kaleb stopped walking "What do they have against me?" he asked

Hazel looked at her feet "Well Redding was friends with uh- Cass" she offered "And well Seamus probably doesn't like you because Thomas is sexually confused and has a slight crush on you because he's convinced Seamus doesn't like him" she added

Kaleb's face scrunched up in disgust "I need to tell the Headmistress" he said. Hazel shook her head "She probably already knows" she said "If I've heard from all the girls talking then she probably has too" she added as she jumped on to his back.

Kaleb grunted slightly and then continued walking "Suppose she doesn't know" he said. Hazel shrugged quickly and she plucked his glasses from his face. "I'm sure she does" she said as she wiped the lenses of Kaleb's glasses with the hem of her shirt "Do you ever clean your glasses?" she asked

Kaleb nodded "Of course I do" he said as Hazel placed his glasses on his face properly. "Okay if you say so" Hazel said as she laughed "It doesn't look like you do" she added

"And that's one of the many things I love about you" Hazel Fisher told her best friend and she meant it, a lot more than he would ever know.
