Name: Dominic ???
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Animal Type: Vancouver Island Wolf
Appearance: While the wolf carries the usual traits of a Vancouver Island Wolf, he also carries a few abnormalities, and while orange eyes aren't uncommon in this type of wolf, his eyes carry a certain clearness color wise. He wasn't the largest of wolves though, his fur making him seem much larger, while still retaining the smallness of his true stature. He had minor scars covering parts of his body, the most noticeable of these scars would be the larger one covering his left eye, partially blinding the wolf.
Personality: The wolf is shy and usually has to depend on others to initiate the conversation with him and to introduce him to newer wolves to the pack. This doesn't mean one should underestimate his abilities, as the wolf is protective over his kin and won't hesitate to sprinkle a little bit of vengeance in when one is injured due to another wolves intentions. There is a backside to this though, as one could attempt to manipulate the wolf, because, as pointed out by one of the pack leaders, Frost, he's a bit too gullible for his own good, causing issue to only worsen between Cheeky and him if another wolf were to take advantage of him and twist his ways to match their wants. No one is blind to the wolf's bubbly nature, it being much more obvious when painted in front of the much more serious and rougher sides of the rest of his kin inside the pack; his kind nature follows behind the bubbly one, creating a wonderful combination between the two, and what allows him to usually get along with newer wolves, those with rougher edges were a bit more difficult, but they would probably soften up during time. Like anyone, when the time is right, he'll flip his bubbly, kind, and gullible nature for a more serious, less gullible nature instead, usually when he's called upon to deal with a less than respectful wolf, or perhaps wolves that had yet to act, but are assumed to have ulterior motives. His patience and softer nature is usually put to use if he's to interrogate the wolves that had decided to act up or are under suspicion of ulterior motives towards the pack.
Extra Info: A majority of this wolf's past is unknown, at least, before joining Frost's pack, it can only be assumed he had left his pack long ago, being recruited at the age of 9. Although he carried a usually stable and friendly relationship with a majority of the wolves, Cheeky was the only wolf of the group who seemed to give him a large dose of 'tough love'. She always treated him with a stern and harsh side, unlike the kinder sides of another she-wolf, Dandelion, who seemed to be more motherly and understanding with him. But that's besides the point, the wolf usually spent his days relaxing or out with the rest of the hunt, but in days where they got into a particularly sticky situation, he'd always manage with a charismatic shine and emotion shown by no others if they're in such a situation. The wolf has a slight limp because of his rear leg, particularly the right one; he spends no time wasted explaining the story, merely saying "Happened long ago with an accident, doesn't matter," before moving on before further questions can be asked. The male carries magic, like a majority of the wolves high up in value, though unlike a majority, the wolf carries two types, both to be revealed later.
☆Prologue☆
Third Person
The quiet crunching could be heard beneath the wolf's paw as he walked through a forest, his paws felt heavy with every step he took, understandably so, he had been walking for what felt like ages. His stomach gave a low growl, if he didn't find anything to eat, all that walking would be for nothing and the wolf would collapse, or worse, starve to death. He shivered at the thought and looked around, wincing as one of his legs nearly gave out below him, he looked around, ears down, he felt smaller in this area. It was unfamiliar to say the least, autumn colored leaves were there, even though the wolf was sure there would be some time before the cool season would sweep through home. He continued with his heavy steps, that is, if this place is like his home, which he's beginning to doubt by the second.
He didn't have a single clue as to where the rest of his pack was, he didn't even remember when he had even lost them along the way, it's almost as if they just disappeared into thin air. He gave a low growl to nothing in particular, forcing his head to stay up; he didn't rule out the possibility of them magically disappearing from his sight, or that he magically disappeared from their sight, magic did exist and flowed through their veins after all. He's more so bothered by the prospect of being alone, he had spent a few of his years alone, albeit he had to be alone, back when the wolf was a mere pup, not being alone would be far more concerning than the former. But he wasn't a mere pup now, fending for his life with his all, he's a mostly grown wolf that's able to defend themselves, yet their failing grace is hunger, he'll probably be yapping all the way to the afterlife with curses towards whomever the unlucky person near him is. Hunger? Really? That's not a way for him to die and he knew it.
A quiet meow brought the wolf out of his thoughts, he attempted to look at the creature that made that noise but failed miserably, it was on top of his head so all he got were hisses of protest and something attempting to injure him. It isn't as if the small kitten would be able to injure him, it was just a spectre after all, but his moral didn't improve at the thought that this creature would be the last thing he saw. In all honesty, it probably worsened his moral because he had to have the most useless of companions; sure it can't eat, but it can't help with hunting and usually spends its time meowing about this or that. He didn't exactly bother to put any energy into attempting to translate whatever the kitten was saying, instead, he used it on walking and attempting to keep an eye out for any other creatures, key word there, attempting.
When he noticed a river, though, he gained hope again and attempted to run over, but his limp and the aforementioned heaviness of his paws nearly made the wolf fall onto his face, so he just stuck to walking the rest of the way, a bittersweet way to do things. Yet he can't not be grateful, his throat went raw long before, when he was attempting to locate his kin through howling, yet all he heard were the unfamiliar cries of wolves, not a great sign for a tired and lone wolf like him. He nearly collapsed in happiness as he reached the river, he had only now noticed his state, a wheezing wolf who was panting as if he had no tomorrow, which was probable in his current situation.
He began drinking some water, cursing his luck internally, it struck again and this time, it was when he was expecting it the least. It had been years since the last accident happened, so he truly thought it was gone forever, or that it would happen while he's in the group, not separated and practically starving to death. As black spots appeared in his vision, he went underneath a tree, he didn't notice any remarkable features about it, just an ordinary tree, though he found it funny that he'd managed to get out of the orange and yellow colored leaves trees and not notice.
'Of course, his head fell onto his paws and eyes closed, the only thing he could think of was the aching pain of hunger inside his stomach. An as he thought of something, he drifted off to sleep, expecting to be surrounded by his pack and that all of this was a dream. As if it was, though, the hunger clawing at his insides was far from fake, but all he could do was hold onto a false hope that would certainly not catch up to the wolf. Yet as he only hoped for the best and expected the worse, he had not a single clue as to what would be coming next, and the new can of worms that would be opened.
