"Bailey, it's time to go. We can come back tomorrow."

"Mom."

"It's not like she is going anywhere."My mother kind of chuckled.  Was that supposed to be funny?

Bailey had a disgusted look on her face. "Is that supposed to be funny?" I guess we think like twins. "Are you taking any of this seriously? She is in a coma. You were crying hours ago. Does that mean anything to you now?" Bailey was defending me? Thats a first.

"Hun, I didn't mean it that way. It's getting late and we need to get home. The boys are in the waiting room sleeping, and your dad is already at home because he has a meeting for work early tomorrow morning." She sat up from her chair and walked out of the room. Probably going to go wake up the boys. Which, honestly, she should just leave them here. A little peace and quiet at home never hurt anyone.

Bailey turned to face me. "So what are you going to do now? Come home as if you never left?"

"I guess so. I dont really have any other options. Well technically I can go anywhere I want. But for you, I will come home tonight." I smiled and gave her a hug. Tried to give her a hug. All I did was go right through her. Which killed me on the inside. Not being able to hug my sister.

"Ok then... Lets go!" She acted all giddy as if she just got kissed or something. And for the record, neither of us have had boyfriends. Nor do we want boyfriends. So all you boys can go back home. "Wait, does this mean you can spy on people without  getting caught?" She had the biggest and most mischieviuos smile on her face.

"Bailey. That's not very nice." Not gonna lie though, that sounds pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind sneaking in on my brother at night. "But it sounds so awesome!" She squeaked with excitment and did this little excited jump that she always does.

My mother walked into the room just after she did that. "Bailey. Time to go." Bailey turned around with a smile on her face from earlier "Ok mom." My mom looked confused "Why are you so happy. You were mad at me a minute ago."

"Bailey. Don't say anything." I was hoping she wouldn't tell mom she could see me or my mother would put her in a mental institute.

"Oh.. um.. well I just realized that there is a chance she could wake up at any minute and that made me feel better about the situation." That's my girl.

My mother looked a bit confused but accepted that she had gotten over all the sadness. "Ok hun. Now lets get going." This time she waited until Bailey walked out of the room with her.

I followed them into the car. The ride home was silent because the boys fell asleep and Bailey just didn't talk. Nor did my mother.

When we got home I went into my room and layed down. I didn't feel tired. I didn't feel hungry, tired, or anything. I felt nothing. I'm just a soul. Floating and stuck between life and death. Great.
