Your birth was one of those rare unions amongst your kind between a mortal and demon of the night. Your father was a mortal man who fell in love with your immortal mother who was known as a high blood, a vampire born from the purest lineages of blood.

Though for you this means you're just as strong as any normal vampire, maybe stronger because of your mother's blood which also made you even more rare amongst your kind. You never flaunt your power though you don't like to attract attention negative or good.

It was against the codes of the vampire community to expose your true identity and especially conceive a child with a mortal. If you broke those rules you were punished by death or excommunication from the community, although due to your mother's status she was only relinquished of her title and still allowed to live amongst the community but you were basically despised by all.

As you grew up your father eventually died of old age which put an emotional toll on your mother even knowing she would outlive him, he disappeared sooner that she thought. She and him made an agreement long before your birth that she would never turn him, neither of them wanted that life, they made a promise to that they would disappear together whenever his or her time came.

They hadn't expected they would have child since it's so rare and unique for a female vampire to become a mother, but she did. So even when you were born your mother planned on keeping that promise, you where only in your young teen when she disappeared with your father leaving you on your own in a world were humans hated you and vampires saw you as an abomination.

You somewhat loathed your mother leaving you alone but you understood her feelings, you understood why she kept her promise, you loved both your mother and father but you knew a day would come when the both of them would vanish, you just wished it was later than sooner. You grew up teaching yourself things since no one would help you or even offer any advice, you struggled and got frustrated many a times but you were able to do it.

By the time you were 20 you got a handle of your bloodthirst, powers, and living on your own. You were fully capable of any and all things that came with being a damphyr, you even passed the entrance exam to the academy you mother had enrolled you in and surprisingly they didn't deny you. Some of the headmaster probably knew your mother personally, that was your only idea as to why you would be let in.

At the Academy you were attending St. Louche. Which is a very ironic name if you think about it but you guessed that was just a vampires sense of humor, naming a school after a person whose killed dozens of your kind and whose lineage is still practicing the art of hunting vampires. At the academy you were known as the castaway boy, no parents, no relations, no nothing, and everyone avoided interacting with you.

You didn't really mind the peace and quiet your 'uniqueness' gave you since everyone who attended the school where pricks or snobs anyway and in all honestly you were glad they avoided you. Though you did admire one of the most known vampires in school, Levi Ackerman, he was well known for his smarts and drop dead gorgeous looks. Although you liked his sharp tongue and bluntness the most, just as you were thinking of said boy, he entered your vision standing next to a girl. It seemed as she confessed to him due to group of people gathered around whispering about it.

"I don't have time for annoy brats like you.....you talk to much and are so bitchy" Levi said as he turned her down. You couldn't stop laughing as you quickly walked away from the area trying not to capture anyone's attention though unknowing to you, you caught a certain someone's eye.

As you made your quick escape you bumped into Hitch Dreyse one of the most annoying chicks in your class who on a daily basis was just a jerk to you. "Watch it you damn damphyr!" you rolled your eyes and continued walking though were stopped by her hand catching your arm "apologize".

"Then come up with a better insult" you retorted

"Excuse me?" she raised a brow

You turned to face her "N" pause "O" you spelled it out for her just to make sure she really did understand you

"You can not talk to me-" you cut her words off with your own

"Listen Dreyse, I know your not fond of me and frankly nor am I of you so I'm just going to be on my way to class avoid talking to you any longer." she sent you a glare and huffed

"I don't have time to talk to a damphyr like you anyway" with that she continued on her way to wherever she was going. You sighed glad and proud at yourself that worked, usually the two of you would have a very long spat but you didn't want to deal with that today.

"Nice going" your attention was brought behind you

"Hmmm?" you questioned as you turned around to see Levi himself standing before you making your eyes widen, though you quickly tried to regain your composure so you wouldn't look like a complete fool in front of him. "Um.... Thanks"

"Your that damphyr right?" he questioned

"I have a name, jeez will it hurt people to learn other's by names?" you sighed, somewhat abbreviated that's what he knew you by.

"Which is?"

"what?" you were confused by his response

"What's your name brat?"

"First of all I'm not a brat, and second of all shouldn't you introduce yourself first it's kinda rude not to"

He glared a bit "Levi"

"I'm (Y/N) (L/N)" you can't believe you just talked back to Levi, it wasn't that he was scary but you thought you would have stuttered and been a complete mess when you saw him.

"Well (Y/N), I wanna spar"

"What?"

Levi looked at you slightly annoyed "you heard me"

"Well yeah but I mean like, why do you wanna spar me?" you were so confused as to his random request

"Because I've never sparred a damphyr before since your kind is so rare"

You glared "You know what you are on" you normally would back down from requests like this but this was Levi we are talking about, smoking hot Levi and you don't want to let a chance like this to bond with him. Or at least help him remember your name.

New Story!!!!!!!

I have been wanting to write this type of story for a while so glad I can finally post something for it. Just started working on it since I want something new to work on helps me keep my mind occupied. Hope you lovelies like it <3 !
