It's already past lunch time pero hindi pa rin tapos ang practice namin ng cheer dance. Malapit na kasi ang practicum kaya double time na kami. Gutom na gutom at sobrang pagod na ako. Wala yata kaming karapatang magpahinga kahit pa sabihin na malapit na ring bumigay ang mga katawan namin.

Nasa loob kami ng gym kasama ang kagrupo ko. Dahil pambato kami para sa inter-school competition, binubugbog na kami ng practice ng handler namin.

Until I heard someone shouting from a far! "Babe! Go, babe! Whoah!"

I know that there's only one guy who would shout shamelessly like that and that's my boyfriend, Bobby.

My mood suddenly lighten up upon hearing his voice. The warmth that it brings to my senses is enough to ease my exhaustion.

I flashed a big smile and waved at him. Kumaway rin ito at nag-flying kiss pa.

Tinukso tuloy ako ng mga kagrupo ko. "Uy, Ranika! You're very lucky to have Bobby!" she said.

"Oo, nga!"

Nginitian ko lang ang mga ito na parang silent mode na proud.

I know right! I am the luckiest girl alive to have him in my life.

I saw him comfortably sitting on the bleachers while watching my every move. I felt his stares darted on me kaya medyo na-conscious rin ako. Dahil gusto kong magpa-impress pa rin sa kanya kahit boyfriend ko na siya, ginalingan ko lalo ang bawat galaw ko. Isa kasi ako sa mga cheerleaders. Luckily, I also have my own cheerleader.

I check the time on my wristwatch to see that it's past one. Sa wakas, pinakawalan din kami ng handler namin. I looked at where Bobby is sitting minutes ago but he's nowhere to be found. I thought of his schedule and perhaps, he's on his class at this moment.

Nang dumiretso na kami sa lockers to get our things, may nadatnan akong isang pink rose na nakadikit sa pinto ng locker ko. I blushed at the moment dahil tinukso ako ulit ng mga kagrupo ko.

I read the note that says: "you're the best cheerleader ever, babe! See you later. I LOVE YOU."

I opened my locker at may nakita akong paper bag, again with a note that says "you work hard. now eat". When I opened it, may laman iyong Pepsi in can at clubhouse na paborito ko.

Napangiti ako at halos maihi na sa kilig. Hinanap ko ang cellphone ko to send him a message. Napangiti ako ulit nang makita ko ang picture naming dalawa sa wallpaper. It was a picture of us last month when we celebrated our first year as a couple. He's kissing me on my forehead at nakapikit na nakayakap naman ako sa kanya.
