i softly opens my eyelids with the loud sounds coming from outside. Getting a few knocks from the door, before coming rushing inside my brother, or should i say step-brother.
"hey, eun-ah. Get up" he shuttered, shaking my body abit as it woke me completely.
Darting my eyes towards him as he went through my closet, "eunki-ah, what's wrong?" i asked whilst rubbing my swollen eyes, slightly twitching as his body couldn't stay still and having an uneasy facial.
passing the jacket onto my lap, "hurry, get dressed. mom just fainted" he mentioned, before heading out, closing the door behind him.
"w-what?" i flustered as my mind goes blank, trying hard to really understood what he just said.
shooking as i snapped back to reality, sprinting up from the bed and rushed towards the closet. Grabbing whatever shirt caught my hands and a pair of jeans before heading towards the bathroom to change and get myself ready.
Due to the rushing state, every action i did wasn't tidy but a bit messy. Grabbing my phone and the jacket eunki took out earlier and rushed down the flight of stairs.
"hurry up!" eunki screeched out by the door before heading towards the car to start up the engine.
Slipping into the nearest sneakers i could grab and locked the doors behind me before entering eunki's car. He drove out the garage and sprints off towards the located hospital.

after eunki finally parked his car, which is the most closest parking spot we could find with the elevators.
"w-where's m-om now?" i stuttered in between my words as sweats came swelling down, facing my brother whom is leaning against the wall, with his eyes shut.
"she's at the emergency room, we'll meet up with dad at the entrance" he gestured, opening softly his eyeslids and crossed his arms together, looking sternly at me.
D-DDING!
the elevator bell went off, signalling as we arrived at the wanted level. We both rushed our way out, trying to figure out the way towards the emergency room entrance. Receiving help of directions from the nurse passing by.
"there they are" i shrieked, pointing to the familiar figure standing by the emergency room entrance.
We speeds up towards dad and halted just a few metres from him, earning a flinched by our sudden appearance.
"h-how's mom?" eunki started, flattering in between his words as he tried catching his breath after running earlier.
sighing, "the doctor said she's dehydrated and has high blood pressure due to stress but they said her state isn't very worrying so let's just pray she's okay" dad explained thoroughly, gripping onto eunki's shoulder as he said the word 'pray'.
i decided to sat on one of the benches, cupping my face as my tears burst out as i recalled back the harsh words i said the other day.
renjun is already gone, now mom too.
"hey, eun-ah" eunki called.
"what" i responded in between my sobs as my voice cracked.
"did you say anything to mom the other day?" he trails off. "you know mom has been locking herself inside her room yesterday, not accepting any food nor allowed anyone to come in. she said, she wants to be alone"
i held up my head, facing him.
"so did you said anything to her?" he pointed out, lowering his body to reach my face level and eventually wiped a tear by the cheeks before i pulled away and cupped it again.
"i feel so wronged" i manage to blurts out in between my sobs.
he took a seat beside, hesitating weather he should help calm her down or not despite their relationship with each other wasn't good to start with, but he eventually starts patting her back softly.
"i came home late that day and mom was furious about coming late. she said she sets the curfew for my safety and own good but i was pissed about it and wanted to be free like other girls. She eventually slapped me to get my sense but i said such harsh words before running away"
"what harsh word?" he asked, pushing my side hair behind the ear so it won't block the face view as i cupped my face for a while before pulling to answer his question.
"i-i said 'why did you even accepted me'"
he pulled her closer towards him, landing her head to his chest, "do you want to know why mom accepted you?" he whispered softly as he pats her shoulder gently.

okay here's the story, i somehow didn't come up with eun's family names so like i had to search up some idol that has 'eun' in his name since usually korean siblings has a name character that is the same with each other...
so i had to choose beween eunwoo and eunki since their the only idol that i found uwu and i chose eunki since i somehow think that eunki is actually more suitable with the character he potrays as a brother hehe
