I could not believe my eyes, I had finally purchased Sword Art Online. This would be my first game outside the beta test. I could finally forget about the real world and enter virtual reality. I stared at the nervegear with awe. I couldn't wrap my mind at the thought that I had gotten my very own nervegear. I brushed my hand through the silvery plastic helmet. I plugged it in.  I looked for my bag. Once  I had found it I searched for the game disk. It took me a while but I found it. I opened the game card slot and inserted the game.

I stared at the nervegear for a few minutes. . I took one last glance at my room. My nerves were elevated in that moment. I just couldn't stop thinking about how cool it wouls be to be in a game. How would it feel. It was just so amazing. I couldn't help but think about how I would brag at school  tomorrow. How I would rub it in my friends faces that I was able to get it before them.

I placed the nervegear onto my head. I looked at the inbuild dogital clock and noticed it was only one minute to one. I stared at the ceiling for a couple of seconds before closing my eyes.

13:00

"Link Start!", I said. My field of vision was surrounded by white. An array of colours ranging from red to violet zoomed past. In game options came into view. I quickly confirmed them before entering the account login section.

My username popped up and I selected yes from the menu. I went through another portal, but this portal consisted of the various shades of blue. Within a few seconds I had arrived. I looked around and noticed that there were a couple of other people that had just spawned.

I looked around and searched for people whom I could socialize with. I walked around the city. Hors had passed and I still hadn't found a person that I could talk to. Most of the people I had met so far were either too rude or occupied. So I gave up and sat on a stone slab.

"Huh", I sighed. "Why aren't these people friendly."

I jumped off and saw a guy with white hair. I tried my luck and went up to him.

"Hey", I said. He's neautral facial expression broadened into a jaggered smile.

"Hi",he chirped. "Whats your name."

"I'm Shito and you", I brushed through my raven hair.

"Me...well I'm called Ryaitsu", he said in the same jolly tone.

"Do you wanna hangout", I asked.

"Nah I wanna take a look around first but I'll message you later", he said. We then exchanged contacts and became online friends. We chatted for a few more minutes before heading our seperate ways. I secretly fist pumped the air in delight 'cuase I had made a new friend.

17:00

I decided to take a walk and hopefully level up before logging out. I ran to the city's outskirts. And searched for some spawn. I had to walk further away form the city before a few hog like creatures spawned a few meters away from me.  I pulled out my sword and focused. I felt a wave of energy rush through my right hand. I then released, causing me to dash towards the hog-like creature and slice right threw it. The creature then fell to the ground before it shattered like glass. The shattered pieces the floated into the air before disappearing.

Another creature spawned. I immediately got into battle stance. I pulled out my sword and charged my attack once again. My weapon glowed a light blue. I then released the energy and flew forward. The creature dodged the attack at the last second. It then charged at me. I was still startled from missing that it crashed into my back cuasing me to stumble forward. My sword was knocked out of my hand by the time I steadied my balance. The creature came raging towards me. I rolled out the way and hrabbed my sword. I then charged my attack once again. The blue light engulfed my sword onces more. Once I felt the power was enough I let go and dashed forward. I slashed through the creatures mouth to the other side. The creature shattered before disappearing.

I wiped the sweat off my forehead and sat down to regain my breath. That was intense.  I checked the  clock and noticed that twenty nine minutes had passed since I came here. I was quite surprised it took me that long to wipe out level one monsters. I entered the menu and went to where the log out option was supposed to be but I couldn't find it. I searched through the hole menu but still no luck. I came to the conclusion that there might be a problem with the servers so they're busy fixing it.

A few minutes passed before the town bell began ringing.
