Chapter 16

Recap:

 "So interesting how Harry punched a wall, right after your tweet, huh?" She said suspiciously. 

"Wait..What?" I asked concerned, I had never considered that I was the reason behind that.

"You heard me" She raised her eyebrows.

"Wait..I'm the reason he punched a wall and broke his arm?" I asked not quite believing it. She nodded. I smiled slightly and she gave me a suspicious look.

"Are you ready to go?" She asked, "We already missed the movie you know"

"I'm sorry Dani" I nodded grabbing my bag, "You wanna just walk around town and see what's going on?" She smiled at me forgivingly and we set off around town.

"Wanna go into there?" I asked suddenly pointing at a dusty old shop. 'Have your future read for only five dollars' the sign read. Danielle looked at me weirdly, but reluctantly agreed. We walked into the dark shop.

"Can I help you?" An old woman asked us.

"Yes" I said pulling five dollars out of my wallet, "I want my future read"

She led me to a table and began to lay out cards. I watched her in fasination.

"Yes, yes I see, three kids" She muttered, "You have already met the person you will marry.

  wondered if that was true, and who that would mean I'm marrying.

"Also, the person who loves you the most is much closer then you think" She continued. I thanked her and we briskly walked out of the shop.

"That was bull, why'd we even go?" She asked scoffing. I shrugged.

"I thought it might be interesting, but she didn't seem to really know what she was doing" I explained. 

"Ices?" She asked pointing to a little shop.

"Sure" I said and we walked inside.

Sitting at the only occupied table were two brunette boys. I reconized them instantly.

Liam and Harry.

The person who loves you the most is much closer than you think. The old ladies words echoed through my head on repeat. This must be a setup. 

"Hey Emily" Liam said hugging me. I smiled in response. He grabbed Danielle and put his arms around her. He kissed her cheek and they began speaking softly. I figured since I was stuck here I might as well talk to Harry.

"So..hey" I said awkwardly sitting down.

"Hi" He said cautiously.

"So nice cast you got there" I said making small talk. He looked down at the green plaster on his right arm and blushed.

"Thanks" He said, "I tripped"

"I thought you punched a wall?" I asked confused.

"Oh so you do watch our interviews" He smirked. I blushed at gave him a look, and he continued talking, "And if you must know, yes I did punch a wall"

"Hm, may I ask you why you would do that?" I asked casually.

"You may not" He said

"But I just did" I persisted

"Well, I won't answer" He said smugly.

"Fine, fine" I said, "But not your smartest move..So how's Brittany?"

"Well, if you were watching the interview you should know I'm single" He said.

"Just cause you said it, doesn't mean it's true" I said

"I don't lie" He said

"Well you told me you loved me didn't you?" I said in a causal tone. I watched as my words hit him. I crossed my arms defensivley.

"That wasn't a lie" He said sharply.

"Well you made it seem like it by sleeping with some random slut a day later!" I snapped. He looked as shocked as if I had just slapped him across the face. I looked at his hurt expression and sighed.

"Look..Harry..I'm sor-" I began

"Stop" He cut me off sharply, "Don't apoligize, it's completley true" 

An awkward silence settled in the air.

HARRY'S P.O.V

 I watched Emily rush out of the shop with tears streaming down her face.

"Emily-Wait!" I tried but she ignored me.

Nice one, Harry. Way to f-ck it up again.

Danielle and Liam looked at me suspiciously.

"Harry, what happend?" Liam asked.

"I don't even know!" I blurted, "We were talking and she told me I was lying when I said I loved her, I told her it was true. Then she yelled at me about Brittany and I told her if I could take everything back I would and she bolted"

Liam looked at Danielle for what to do next.

"I should probably go check on her" Danielle said and exited the ice cream shop.

"Is that really all that happend?" Liam asked.

"Yeah, I don't get it!" I said, "I don't know what I said wrong!"

"Girls are confusing, mate" Liam said.
