Chapter 17

RECAP:

"Well, if you were watching the interview you should know I'm single" He said.

"Just cause you said it, doesn't mean it's true" I said

"I don't lie" He said

"Well you told me you loved me didn't you?" I said in a causal tone. I watched as my words hit him. I crossed my arms defensivley.

"That wasn't a lie" He said sharply.

"Well you made it seem like it by sleeping with some random slut a day later!" I snapped. He looked as shocked as if I had just slapped him across the face. I looked at his hurt expression and sighed.

"Look..Harry..I'm sor-" I began

"Stop" He cut me off sharply, "Don't apoligize, it's completley true" 

An awkward silence settled in the air.

"I'm sorry about everything, I'd take it all back if I could" He said sadly.

I felt tears began to fill up in my eyes. All I wanted was to tell him we could start over and throw myself into his arms but I couldn't do that. 

As tears began to stream down my face I got up and walked outside of the shop. As I was leaving Harry called out after me.

I watched Emily rush out of the shop with tears streaming down her face.

"Emily-Wait!" I tried but she ignored me.

Nice one, Harry. Way to f-ck it up again.

Danielle and Liam looked at me suspiciously.

"Harry, what happend?" Liam asked.

"I don't even know!" I blurted, "We were talking and she told me I was lying when I said I loved her, I told her it was true. Then she yelled at me about Brittany and I told her if I could take everything back I would and she bolted"

Liam looked at Danielle for what to do next.

"I should probably go check on her" Danielle said and exited the ice cream shop.

"Is that really all that happend?" Liam asked.

"Yeah, I don't get it!" I said, "I don't know what I said wrong!"

"Girls are confusing, mate" Liam said.

Emilys P.O.V

I felt a thin arm wrap around my shoulders. I didn't even have to look up to know it was Danielle.

"What happend babe?" She asked with concern in her face.

She waited patiently on the curb with me for my sobs to subside. When they finally did I wiped my eyes and turned to face her.

"He said exactly what I wanted to hear" I said slowly, "So naturallly I ran as fast as I could"

"But babe, I don't get the problem" Danielle said gently, "You still love him, he still loves you"

"Do you think that there can be a relationship without trust?" I asked.

"No but he made a mistake and he-" She started.

"Shattered me into pieces" I finished the sentence completley differently then she would've.

There was a silent moment.

"Before I can try again, I have to trust him" I said

"And what's going to make you trust him again?" She asked.

"He's going to have to word hard to earn it" I said.

Danielle's P.O.V

 After taking Emily home, I drove straight over to Liam's. I knocked impatiently on the door.

"Babe, I didn't know you were coming today!" He smiled, "Come in, the boys are here"

"I'm just dropping by" I smiled and kissed him briefly, "I actually need to talk to Harry"

"Okay" Liam looked at me skeptically and called for Harry.

"Whassup mate?" He asked walking over to where me and Liam stood.

"Danielle wants to have a word" He said pointing at me and walking away.

"What's this about?" Harry looked at me suspiciously.

"Do you love Emily?" I asked.

"I would do anything for her" He said honestly looking straight into my eyes.

"What if I told you that there's a way to get her to give you another chance?" I asked.

"Don't tease me if this isn't true" He shot me a look, "But if it is, I'll do whatever it takes"

"Well good, because the way to get her back, is to win her trust back" I said. I watched him take in my words.

"Well how do I do that?" He asked uncertainly.

"That's up to you" I smiled, "I'm sure you'll think of something"

I began to walk out of the apartment.

"And Danielle?" Harry called out and I spun around, "Thank you"

I smiled at him warmly and exited into the warm evening air.

Let's just hope Harry has what it takes.

Theres like only  4-5 chapter left :( But dont worry ill be posting another story called "Same Mistakes" i think it'll be about Liam.. So what do you guys think?? I have to revise regularly for the exams particularly MATHS!
