Kevin: Right. ( Betty calls him)
Kevin: Hey Betty.
Betty: I want to invite you, Veronica, and Jughead to a dinner party.
Kevin: I'm flattered, but why?
Betty: I just need to get my mind off Cheryl.
Kevin: Ok. I'll be there.
Betty: (hangs up)
Veronica: What did she say?
Kevin: She invited you, me and Jughead to a dinner party to get her mind off Cheryl.
Veronica: Well, I'm coming.
(At the Cooper House)
Betty: ( calls Jughead)

Betty: Will you come to my dinner party, with Kevin and Veronica.
