McGarthi was tapping his fingers against the mahongy table, glaring at the teen sitting across from him. "where is it."

Fergus turned a page of a colourful magazine he had found under McGarthis table, the headmaster was too agitated to have been noticed what kind of magazine the teen was looking in his office. "I don't know what you're talking about." the man jumped up, his small eyes filled with anger. The hat on top of his head nearly fell off, making the man push it on place again.

"you liar and a thief, if i only could i would have you kicked out of this school! Back to the hellhole you came from!"

"too bad youre getting paid extra for my glorious presence. And frankly, I'm not familiar with the hellhole I popped out from. Also, just to clarify that simple fact. I am not a thief. I'm just good at aquiring things that aren't mine."

The man went silent, pointing an accusing finger at him. "aha! You confessed!"

"no, I didn't."
The man let out a strangled noise, falling back down on his chair. "get out."

Fergus snorted, standing up as he let the playboy magazine drop on the headmasters table. "it's pretty old, I suggest using Internet, ever heard of--"

"get out! Out!" the old man yelled angrily, his face red from frustration and shame as he realized what the teen had found.

"talk about teachers being compassionate..." the green eyed teen muttered as the door was slammed behind him. On his way out, he sent a flirtatious smirk towards a flustering secretary who nearly melted under his light green gaze.

Mere minutes later, the said teen was glancing over his shoulder as he glued paper-cut cat ears on a brown wig, placing the headmasters wig on his old pickup truck, letting the wig hang on the long antenna reaching out from the cars hood.

"mission accomplished." he said, putting on his sunglasses as he calmly walked away from school.

The teen took out his cards, throwing his nearly empty schoolbag on a bench as he stretched out his long legs, waiting for Refster to make his appearance as he had promised the day earlier. Shuffling his cards, Fergus' green eyes slipped over the passing people, analysing them. Most were just enjoying the day, which was the best kind of crowd for earning money.

What made him nearly drop his pack of cards, was the large, night coloured bird sitting on the bench opposite of the walkway, staring straight at him. Nobody else but Fergus seemed to be bothered by the large bird. "stay there and keep yourself away from my cards." he muttered, flashing a smile at the group of girls passing by.

Fergus waited and waited, deciding to pull couple of people in his magic show when Refster didn't show up, he fooled them like piece of cake, doubt crept in when the day rolled into night and Ref was still nowhere to be seen.

Fergus frowned and pulled his hood up, he fidged with his pack of cards deep in thought when suddenly the dark mass of feathers nearly attacked him. He stumbled back, staring wide eyed at the raven howering in the air.
The creature croaked at him, mocking the lad as he flew away, disappearing in the shadows.

Fergus looked down at his cards, wondering if it'd bring more money in if he could make the cards fly. Intensely, Fergus stared at the Ace of Spades.

Flying cards.

Almost unnoticeable green hue appeared around the card, surprised, the boy dropped the deck of cards, only ace of spades howering before him.

He heard a gasp, making him lose his focus. Like that, the card flew on the dirt, joining all the other 52 pieces.

Fergus glanced to his right, seeing a little girl staring at him. "Come away, Hailey, he's homeless." slightly older woman appeared, pulling the girl away gently as she sent suspicious looks towards Fergus. "for your information, I'm not homeless, lady! Or well, not legally that is..."

The teen muttered, picking up his cards in a hurry.

Did he just imagine that? His cards weren't flying, he can't make cards fly! That's just not normal.

Stumbling down the street while stuffing the cards in a pack, he nearly ran into someone, making the figure almost fall. "Sorr-- ah damn Fergus!"

Refster complained, pulling away his red bandana as he combe his curly hair that was, really just a mess. Annoyed, the green eyed lad crossed his arms, deciding to push the odd experience of flying cards in the back of his mind for the time being.

"and where the hell were you man? Couldn't you i don't know, let me know you'd ditch the free money?"

"ah, sorry dude, Cruella de Vill was keeping me in the garage, I swear she knew I was headed here..." Ref mumbled.

"ah fine then, some other time, I don't think your step-parents would be happy, who knows, they might not let you out of the house next time, Harry Potter." Fergus snickered, heading towards the small store at the side of the cobbled Street.

"Dont sue me, Hagrid--"

"oy, I'd rather be Snape, Hagrid is too accepting and friendly to be mistaken with me." Refster raised an eyebrow, watching as Fergus picked out two packs of dorritos and a large Pepsi.

"oh I don't know, I think you remind me more of Argus Flinch." the blond haired teen said seriously, ducking from the hand coming his way. "shut up Jar Jar Binks" Fergus muttered, throwing the earned cash on the table, ignoring the cashier glaring at them as he collected his change.

The two strolled back out to the streets, stopping at the park to sit down. They faced the largest building in the city, the infames Avengerd tower as the two friends ate their doritos and wathced the glowing building.

"I wanna be a hero, Fergus." the blonde muttered, his mouth full as his eyes were taking in the size of the building, hoping to see Black Widow or Tony Stark in one of the windows, of course he knew it was pointless. "yeah pal, me too. I mean who wouldn't want to have tons of muscle or be a genius and a billionaire? Man, that's a goal i need to achieve, I mean I have the looks, I can be smart sometimes, all I need is a sponsor."

Refster chuckled, stuffing his face with food. "I don't know mate, i think the only person who finds you handsome is your mother." Fergus pushed the lad beside him, making him fall off the bench and grunt from pain. "yeah, i guess your mother is the only one who found you handsome too."

They both snickered, wondering over the person who was their actual mother. They were both orphans, Ref had had the pleasure of being adopted, unlike Fergus, who was and possibly will stay at the foster home until he is legally adult.

The green eyed teen looked down at the pack of dorritos.

Fly, come on, fly.

The pack remained in his hands.

Fergus shook his head, yeah, he must've had imagined it earlier.
