" I'm Here For You " - A Jerza Fanfiction

Chapter 1. The First Day of High School

This is the first day of High School for me and I'm acting quite shy. Everyone else is taller than me , so I feel left out, lonely and invisible. The bell rings to go to our class, but I get confused in which line I have to go in. I suddenly bump into the teacher , while looking back at the prefects representing our school.

" They look like big showoffs , as prefects ", I say in my head.

"AHEM ! " the teacher exclaims , as I bumped into her. " Please line up properly and pay more attention, darling."

" Yes, Miss...... ." I said

" Lockser, Miss Lockser ." the teacher replied.

We walked to our classroom in two straight lines. As we walked beside all the classrooms, on the way to ours, I saw people pointing and giggling at me, as if I was wearing a clown outfit to school, but I think the reason is that I didn't have a surname.

I ignored them and looked down at my feet, as i was walking slowly to our classroom.

I started to think how would they have known that I didn't have a last name

" Who cares ? " I said in my head.

We finally arrived at our destination. Our classroom. I predicted this class was going to be 7L . And , guess what , it was.

Miss Lockser : " Welcome fellow students, my name is Juvia Lockser, but you will address me as Miss Lockser."

Miss Lockser : " Go to your seats and everyone will get to know each other by introducing each other. We will give our first name , surname, hobbies and likes and dislikes if you want.

Everybody had a turn and I was the last person to have a go.

I stood up nervously as I saw pairs of eyes staring at me , as if I was a mirror.

Me : M-My name is E-Erza. I don't have a last name, and I don't k-know why.

I felt really nervous standing up.

I heard lots of giggling in the room as they heard I didn't have a last name.

One boy shouted out " HELLO, Erza , who doesn't have a last name !"

Everyone in the room giggled except this very shy girl sitting behind me , who introduced herself before. She was as shy as me and her name was Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia. I think she was feeling the same thing as me , how lonely and left out each of us felt.
