Today is the day. The day I marry my best friend. My soulmate. I'm so excited. At this moment I was positioned in front of the window away from the mirrors. The girls wanted my makeup and hair to be a big surprise.
"You ready for your make up?"
"Yes. Who's doing my hair?"
"Olivia is"
"Ok great. I can't wait!"
"Someone get the bride some champagne please!"
"Thank you!"
The girls went to work on my face and hair and I just sat back and relaxed. I held my glass in one hand as the other hand's fingernails were being painted. I knew my hair was being curled but I had no idea what else was being done to it.
"Dani, you're brother is here!"
"OK. Send him in"
Colby was walking me down the aisle today and it meant a lot to me.
"Good morning, sis"
"Morning!"
"You ready for today?"
"Hell yeah. I'm so happy"
"That's good to hear"
"Yeah, how come you're here early?"
"Just wanted to be here with you"
"Aw, thank you. Do you like my nails"
"Pretty"
"I know right, go get yourself some champagne please and tell Dad to come as well please"
"Alright, see you out there"
"You sure will"
I carried on getting my makeup and hair done whilst drinking my champagne. After a while, the girls were finished and I was now able to look in the mirror. I was instructed to close my eyes as Eileen guided me into the bathroom with Olivia.
"Ok. Open!"
I opened my eyes and my god I looked fucking beautiful.
