Danielle's p.o.v

~ January 27th, 2018 ~ 

Phoniex, Arizona

Royal Rumble was finally here. Which also means, I'm finally returning to my second home. Colby and Fergal do not know anything about this and I was super excited. I was coming out at number 19. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction when my music plays through the arena. Jon and Joe know and they have promised not to say anything to the guys. The girls participating knew I was returning because we all stand in the gorilla and wait for our turn to go out. 

"Danielle, you're back!"

"I sure am Nia. I've missed you girl"

"Ugh, I've missed you too"

"How's my dress and shoes?"

"In good condition, still placed at the back of my closet"

"Thank you, how are you?"

"I'm great now that you're here"

"I'm glad to be back"

"You nervous at all?"

"Not all, I'm more excited. I'm just nervous about Colby and Ferg's reactions"

"That's good and don't worry I'm sure they'll be excited"

"Yeah, you're probably right"

~RoyalRumble Match~ 

The first two women who were starting the match were Natalya and Bayley. The match progressed as more women entered the match. We were on number 13 and now officially 6 women away from returning. The closer my number got the more my nerves started to kick in. I re-adjusted my wrestling bra as the women continued going out. For those wondering, my ring attire is like Nikki's except my pants are a little longer. Number 17 just went out. I wasn't really paying attention to who it was, I was just focused on the numbers. Number 18. 

Finn's p.o.v

I hadn't heard from Danielle all day. She said she couldn't make it to Phoniex because she was sick. Jon and Joe were acting weird when Colby and I asked them about Danielle. The 18th female just entered the ring just as Ember was thrown over the top rope. The countdown had begun again for the 19th female. As the buzzer struck zero a familiar theme song played through the arena. NO FUCKING WAY! Danielle had walked out onto the stage in her normal ring attire and the BC Leather Jacket. She took the jacket off and left it on the ramp as she ran down and slid into the ring going after the first female in her way.

"Holy shit, my baby is back!"

The door to my locker room burst opened and Colby was stood there. 

"Did you see who's back?"

"Sure did. She knew how to keep that secret"

"I know right. I can't believe she is back. I'm so happy"

"Me too"

Danielle's p.o.v

I was currently throwing punches towards Charlotte as the countdown for number 20 finished. Alexa's theme blasted through the arena. Charlotte had moved away as she knew I wanted Alexa for myself. I turned around and faced Alexa. I looked her dead in the eye as she looked back at me scared. I slapped her and then threw punches at her before clotheslining her to the ground. I repeatedly punched and kicked her a few times before dragging her towards the ropes and attempting to throw her over. It did not work and we were back to square one. However, the roles were reversed and Alexa was now the one in control. I kicked her off me and stood up. Now we were staring at each other as the commentary team was talking. 

M: we know the somewhat rivalry that Alexa and Danielle have had, personally. Some words were said before Danielle was out due to injury, but can you just imagine how Danielle feels being able to finally get her hands on Alexa

C: Danielle should feel threatened by the goddess 

M: Corey, may I remind you that Alexa was the cause of this rivalry and was the one that said the personal words that deeply affected Danielle. How would you feel if someone said some personal stuff to you and it hurt?

I didn't hear Corey say another word because he knew Michael was right. Mickie who had now entered the ring pulled me off Alexa and started punching me and soon Alexa joined her but that didn't last long because Nia had pulled them off me and helped me. I threw Mickie over the top rope whilst Nia dealt with Alexa. We were at number 26. Had I really spent all that time on Alexa? Good. 

~skip to the end of the match (final 6)~

All 30 women had now come and gone in the ring. I had to be eliminated and I was feeling pretty good. Bayley was still here from the number 1 spot. Impressive. There were only 6 of us left. Me, Bayley, Brie, Sasha, Nia, and Charlotte. We all put our focus on Nia and pulled her over the top rope, she sat on the apron as Charlotte and Sasha kicked her off. I had stood behind both of them and threw them both over the rope. Now me, Brie and Bayley circle around each other as I wonder who is going to go after who. Brie and I looked at Bayley before super-kicking her to the ground and throwing her over the top rope.

M: the final two!

C: this is interesting

We locked up and went back and forth punching each other. There were a few times we ended up on the apron but we both managed to get in the ring. I sat in one corner of the ring and gained my energy before standing back up and kicking Brie in the chest over and over again. My whole plan was to make sure Brie had no energy in her to fight back. I hit Dirty Deeds and the Curb Stomp before preparing for the Spear. Got to pay tribute to my brothers somehow. Brie stood up and I ran at her hitting her midsection and knocking her to the ground. I dragged her to the ropes and picked her up. I was so close to throwing her over but she dragged me with her and we were back on the apron. We threw punches at each other. Brie looked over at me with no energy left in her. I kicked her twice before I eventually kicked her off the apron. The bell had rung and I started crying. Renee had entered the ring to interview.

R: "Danielle, congratulations and welcome back"

D: "thank you"

R: "how are you feeling?"

D: "speechless. it feels good to be back and to win the Royal Rumble is truly a great achievement"

R:  "have you thought about who will you face for the Women's Championship match at Wrestlemania?"

D: "I have. I said to Finn if I ever win tonight, Nikki I'm coming for you sweetheart"

R: "thank you, Danielle"

I smiled and climbed out of the ring. I walked through the curtain and was met with claps and a lot of 'welcome backs'. Jon and Joe came and hugged me. Nikki then came up to me.

"Oh I'm so excited for our match at Wrestlemania"

"I know. I can't wait. I finally get to wrestle against you for what feels like years"

"2 years to be exact"

"Really"

"Yeah"

"Wow. We will definitely do our best in that match"

"Of course we will. Watch out your lover is coming"

I turned around and saw Finn coming towards me with a big smile on his face. He picked me up and spun me around and kissed me.

"Baby, you were amazing and you won!"

"I know. It felt so good being out there and seeing everyone again"

"I'm so proud of you Danielle"

"Thank you"

"Tonight we shall celebrate with food and wine"

"I'd love that"
