Chapter 3

"Mom?" I said confused, it felt like there were 300 knifes stabbing me in the head everything around me was a blur "Yes honey" my mom replied "Where am I?" "Oh my poor baby your in the hospital, everything is going to be fine" "how long am I going to be in here?" I asked, I hated hospitals they smell like old people "Two weeks", "NO" I screamed causing doctors to burst into my room "Mom no I ordered tickets for Magcon in one week me and Ria were gonna go, I was gonna tell you but then I ended up in the hospital" "Hun I know how much those boys mean to you but you gotta relax we'll figure something else", "what did the doctors do" I asked touching my forehead it was numb "well you fell your head on this sharp rock" she said a tear rolled down her face "mommy don't cry it's a thing and we can live with this thing" I said I felt a tears forming in my eyes but I blinked them down "I know but the doctors said that you might not make it the rock went to deep and it really messed up your skull" my mom said a river making it's way into her eyes "mom?" I asked "yes baby" "can I see Ria ?" "Speak of the devil" I exclaimed while smiling " oh what so now your gossiping bout me" she said with a goofy smile plastered on her face "no promises" I said sitting up so I can give her a hug "how are you feeling" she asked "oh well just the fact that I got half a rock stuck in my brain" we both started laughing "RIA" I yelled "where's my phone?" "Gee calm down your such a white girl" she said while pulling my phone from her pocket of her high waisted shorts. Matthew texted me I said in my cheery baby voice I looked at the texts on twitter

To: Maria, are you okay I heard what happened your friend Ria told me I hope everything's fine. :((

To: Maria, please answer me y'all making me worried.

To: Maria, OMG this silence is deafening.

I could feel Ria peeking over my shoulder "he's so cute when he's worried" I said breaking the awkward silence " he even quoted The Fault In Our Stars" "the fault in our stars dear Brutus is not in our stars but in our selfs" me and Ria said the same time then started laughing "I should text him back" I said unlocking my phone:

To: thematthewespinosa, calm down Espinosa everything is fine but I can't come to Magcon since I have to stay in this stupid hospital for two weeks ):

To: Maria, what hospital are you staying at?

To: Maria, because I wanna see this beautiful face of yours

"Stop stalking me!' I laughed as I pushed Ria away "Okay don't go Nebraska style on me!!" She exclaimed "do you have my makeup bag" I asked Ria "of course I do" she said as she pulled it out of her purse "gee do you have my whole house in their" I laughed. I put on my blush on my cheeks god I was pale I applied some mascara and a thin line of eyeliner making sure I looked good "god how do you do that so fast" Ria asked me "jelly much" I said laughing "I can't believe you gonna get to finally see your hero" she said " I know right!"
