Chapter 1

Misty pov
I can't believe how my life has change so fast in such a short period of time. I went from being a care free loving older sister and daughter to being a guardian of the twins.

We went from have having two loving parents to one to none. It has been a few weeks since my father passed and I have been working three jobs just to make sure the twins are well cared for. Sure it's hard work but I would do anything for them.

Their birthday were coming up and I still has to get them a gift... if I could afford one that is.

As u was thinking about what I would get for them I didn't notice the line starting to from until one of the customers waved their hand in front of my face.

"Oh... sorry about that what can I get for you?"

"Could I get a three piece chicken meal, a cheese bugger combo and two drinks?"

"For sure that will be $35.99"

He quickly paid for his meal and as the line started to grow smaller and smaller I realized my shift was almost done which ment I had to go pick up the kids and go shopping yay.

Just as I was walking out the door I heard to deep voices. When I looked around for the sources I saw two young men starting just outside the door. They were both around 6ft to 6'3. The one on the left had dirty blond hair and grey eyes. The one on the right had blonde hair and blue eyes. As I was looking them up and down the grey eyed one seem to notice my stares and looked my way our eyes met for seconds before I turned around and got into my car.

I made my way to Mrs Smith's constantly thinking about how grumpy she will be today.

Before I could even knock on the door it swung open and out came the twins not even a second after they are pushed out the door it slams shut.

"How was your guys day?"

"Good other that Mrs. Smith being a gwrumy pants it was fun ile and I got to colour watch movies and even got to go to the park!" Stacy explained in an excited voice.

"Really Mrs. Smith took you to the park?"

"Yup it was so much fun!" Kile spoke as he walked up to my car.

"That's good!"

"So are you two ready to do some shopping?"

"Yay! Can we candy when we there?"

"I don't know Kile maybe..."

As we walked into Walmart I heard the same deep voices I heard earlier. As I looked over my should I saw that I was right. I shook my head getting rid of any thoughts and continued walking though the store. After load the cart up with food it was time to check out.

"Mist can we candy?"

"Umm... sure one piece each only."

They quickly ran into another isle and got there candy. When they were gone I guickly found there birthday presents and gave them to the cashier.
"Can you please do these first I don't want the kids seeing them?"

"Of course is there a special occasiona comin up?" The cashier spoke with a small accent.

"It's the twins birthday this weekend..." I looked down with a sad look.

"If it's their birthdaya shouldn't you be happy?"

"I am happy it's just going to be a hard birthday for us three."

Lucky she didn't push any further and put the toys in the bag. When she was almost done the kids came running back with there candy. I smiled at them and pointed to the cashier.
"That will be $205.50 "

I looked in my wallet and only saw $200. "Umm kids we have to put the candy back."

"Why we want it though?"

"Just can't afford it."

"Come on Mist."

"I'm sorry but no, now put the candy away."

They grabbed the candy and stomped but to where they got it. I gave the a sad look but then saw who was behind us. It was the same to men from before.
