Jude's POV

I knew my daughter Lucy was surprised. "Calm down. We will explain it to you. We made an engagement agreement with Weisslogia Eucliffe with his son, Sting Eucliffe. Sting will also be your fiancee." I calmly explained.

"But I don't want to be engaged!!" Lucy whined. She's still in high school after all.

"Like your father said, calm down Lucy. It'll be fine." Layla reassured her, saying sweet talk to sugarcoat my harsh words.

It's not like I wanted my adorable daughter to have her fate and future decided at the age of 16.

"Okay....." Lucy pouted. Ah, my daughter looked cute when she pouted.

"Get ready and meet us at the entrance. As soon as you're there, we'll be meeting the Eucliffes to discuss this contracted future marriage." I told her, pacing back and forth.

She sighed, and left my office. Layla looked at me and whispered, "When?..." I shook my head, thinking about it.

"I don't know Layla, I don't know..."

Lucy was already waiting for us in her casual attire when we came along.

I asked Capricorn, our head butler, to drive us to the Eucliffes' mansion. When we were safely there, the Eucliffe maids opened the door for us.

" Welcome, Heartfilias!!!" exclaimed Weisslogia, owner of the Eucliffe Foundation. I chuckled and responded, "Still cheerful as ever, Weiss."

I then noticed a blonde teen behind Weiss.

"Welcome....." said his son Sting, who was next to him. At least, I presume he was.

Lucy's POV

"Hi...." I awkwardly said, my eyes drifting off to the mansion that we were in. Curiiusly, I looked from the corners of my eye and checked him out. He seemed both bored and mad. I felt the same.

I only agreed because of my parents, and I don't want to let them down. Guilt would spread over me. Wait... I kept thinking that until I remembered that Sting Eucliffe sounded familiar. It's so nostalgic.

I closed my eyes, thinking really hard. Then I remembered.

He was in my class! Why am I so dumb?

Then out of the blue, he dragged me, pulling my arm to some random place. I had to jog a little to stop myself from tripping everytime.

He opened the door of some room and I instantly realized it was a boy's room by the sports posters and male clothes scattered everywhere.

Since I instantly knew I'll get lost if I try to go back and Sting won't help me, I reluctantly sat on a chair. I want to leave this place...

The tension was getting more stuffy by the second that breathing was so awkward. Finally, I decided to motivate myself and questioned, "Why did you drag me here?"

"Because I know you are in my class. That's so obvious. Listen, from now on we are going to forget and stick with our normal lives and will NEVER, EVER mention about this. It's not like I want to do this. My old pops just wanna do do this for no reason at all," he said.
