The Real Story (Depression & Suicide Quotes)

Dear Society.

Depression is not a fashion trend. It's a mental disorder that thousands of people suffer from. Take me for example. I'm suicidal. Don't you think it hurts when people mock you...when they act depressed just to take the piss out of it. It's not funny. It will never be funny. You don't know how many people your hurting. You may think it is harmless banter but to me, and to everyone else suffering its torture. You. Yes you reading this right now. Think before you speak, think of all those people out there, you don't know who is depressed, who is contemplating suicide...and you never know, maybe you are one of the reasons that they feel that way. Nobody and I mean NOBODY should have to suffer through depression.

I bet you want to know what it feels like right? What it feels like to be depressed. Well I'll tell you. It feels....like you are drowning...but everyone around you is swimming, horrible right? Well that is what I and many others go through, Every. Single. Day.

Yes I cut. So what? You think I'm stupid? Well I'm sorry for having to resort to cutting open my skin just to releive the pain and suffering I go through. I have scars. They are from all the battles that I have fought. No. Not against anyone else. But against me, against my mind.

My mind scares me, it scares me because all I think about is suicide. It's not right, but that's who I am.

I don't know how I am still alive. But I know why. I know that somehow I have survived, and somehow I will continue to survive. I am here, on earth for a reason. And before I die...well I want to forfill my purpose in life. And only then can I die.

This may seem meaningless to you, but this. All of this. It's true.

Bullying

Mocking

Name-calling

Rape

and many many other things.

And you know....Who would love a girl/guy with scars right? Well. I would.
