(Time skip with the reader at home, gaming, with the feeling of being watched.

shaking off the feeling I opened a new tab on google. After some thought I decided to mess with cleverbot. I haven't done it in a while but it's always fun to mess around with the wonky A.I with it's strange responses. Typing in the name I pressed search, clicking on the cite once it popped up.

I clicked on the chat box, wondering how to start the conversation. I ended up going with a normal Hi...

"Hi."

"Hello."

"How are you?"

"I'm fine."

"what's your name?"

...

it seems the A.I needed to think or something. While it did that I quickly grabbed a water from my mini fridge before returning to the screen.

"I'm Ben."

"nice to meet you Ben."

"it's nice to meet you, y/n."

at first I was shocked that it knew my real name, but I brushed it off as it remembering it from past conversations I've had with the bot.

"how old are you Ben?"

"I'm 16. How old are you?"

"I'm 16 too. What a coincidence."

"yeah, it's kinda funny. Lol."

"lol."

"Do you like video games? My favorite is majora's mask."

"I make games for a living, Evil within is my favorite."

"cool, I would love to play one of your games."

as strange as the conversation was with how real it seemed, I had a lot of fun talking to "Ben." We chatted for another hour before I decided I was tired enough for bed.

"I'm getting tired. Goodnight Ben!"

"goodnight. Will you talk to me tomorrow?"

"of course! Bye!"

"goodbye."

I shut off my computer and cleaned up all the trash from my snacks throughout the day. Once that was done I climbed into bed after plugging my phone and headphones in so they could charge. Under my soft covers I slowly fell asleep.

No sunlight penetrated my black curtains but my phones ringing woke me up. Groggily, I reached over and squinted to read the bright screen. After blinking a million times I finally was able to read the screen that said that my doctors appointment was today. It's just the yearly checkup, nothing special, but I guess I shouldn't miss it.

I begrudgingly got out of my warm bed and started getting dressed in my usual attire that consisted of an oversized yellow Hoodie that says Oppai, jeggings, and my black sneakers. I grabbed my Bluetooth headphones from the charger, placing them around my neck and grabbed my phone before I walked to the kitchen to get breakfast.
Looking in the fridge I decided to eat some leftover hamburger gravy and mashed potatoes. Putting my serving in the microwave I quickly brushed my teeth and hair. I then sat down with my food and chowed down on the amazingness in my bowl.

Now all ready to go, I got in my car and drove to the hospital that was luckily only half an hour away. Seeing as my house was literally in the middle of a forest, that's not bad. I love where my house is because there is less light pollution so I can properly see the stars at night. It's so nice to be able to sit on the roof and just stare into the lit up oblivion without a care in the world.

Pulling up to the hospital I parked as close to the doors as I could before walking in and taking a seat after checking in at the window. Now that I was just waiting, I opened up my cleverbot app, some part of me hoping it's synced with my computer and I can still chat with "Ben." It May have just been luck but cleverbot had been giving me proper responses and it was a lot of fun.

Clicking on the chat box I once again typed a message.

"hey, can I talk to Ben again?"

"yeah, I'm here."

"for real? The bot isn't just saying that?"

"It's really me. I had a lot of fun talking to you last night. It's nice to see you actually came back to talk to me."

I slightly smiled seeing it worked like I hoped. At this point I don't even care if I'm actually talking to some hacker, life is full of risks and this is one I'm taking.

"I'm currently at the doctors office waiting for my yearly check up. I figured I could talk to you while I wait."

"waiting must be boring. Glad I could distract you for a bit."

"me too. Even if you are actually some hacker or something you are fun to talk to. Besides, if you tried to do something I'd have the cops on your ass in seconds."

"Haha, really? Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah, why not right? What's the point of living if not for taking risks?"

"fair point."

"lol. As long as you don't perv on me or lie about your age should be good."

...

I didn't see his reply right away because my name was called. I turned to the nurse in the doorway and quickly typed BRB before I followed her back to the room.

On the way home I stopped for some McDonald's for lunch. Putting my bag in the passenger seat I pulled out my medium fries and put them in the cup holder to snack on while I drive. By the time my fries were gone and I had jammed out to a few songs, I was home. I parked the car and grabbed my food before heading inside.

I ate my food while watching one of my favorite horror movies, Hush. I love how even though she is deaf and mute she doesn't give up.

After the movie was over I walked to my room to work on one of my games. I worked for about four hours before calling it quits for today and switching to steam. I was about to click on the sims when I decided to talk to Ben for a bit first and maybe see if he wants to play something online.

Closing steam I opened cleverbot again.

"Ben?"

"Hey! How was the doctors?"

"same old same old. Still healthy despite all the junk food I eat. Anyways, would you like to play something co-op with me?"

"awesome, wanna play CoD?"

"heck yeah! Lemme load it up. What's your gamertag so I can friend you?"

"its Ben_Drowned2002"

"So it was YOU who screwed my team over in Destiny!"

"Haha, yeah. Good game btw."

"Yeah yeah. Gimme a sec to load up the game."

Turning on the Xbox I sent Ben a friend request that he accepted instantly. Putting In the Call of Duty CD we played the rest of the night. I can see us being good friends...
