~ Hey everyone! I  know that I'm WAY behind schedule for the next update, sorry about that... I've had a bit of writer's block and lack of motivation. Not to mention the fact that classes start back up today...ugh...school... ANYWAYS, to hopefully make up for the fact that there's a lack of story, and since it's my birthday today (September 8th) I decided to give you guys this short bit. Hopefully, you all enjoy it! (also for the cake imagine the barbie isn't there, the 9 is a 17, and the name still starts with M but its shorter)

(readers pov)

I was just chilling in Ben's room, minding my own business, when suddenly Ben came barreling into the room like a rabbit dog that found a pile of treats.

"Where did I put the damned thing... not here.... Or here... UGH! WHERE IS IT!?!?!?" he practically screeched to himself like a crazy person.

"Um... what are you looking for?" his head snapped in my direction, and it was obvious he didn't even notice me laying on his bed with a GameBoy. For a second the only noise was my pokemon sapphire background music playing.

"Y/N?! PERFECT! I'm looking for a green box tied with a red ribbon. It's our friend's 17th birthday today, and I've totally misplaced it. Her party starts in two hours! I have to find it and get it on the table before she gets here!"

I rolled off the bed after dropping the game on the pillow, my body lightly smacking the floor with a graceful THUD. After stretching my back like a cat, I crawled around to look under his bed behind all the laundry he hides down here. Considering he seems to wear the same outfit every day, I'm surprised he has any laundry aside from his pajamas.

Luckily I was able to avoid touching the forgotten underwear and found the box underneath one of his, surprisingly clean, hoodies. I pulled out both and smelled the hoodie. Deeming it clean enough, I threw it on over my tank top. Bens not really bigger than me, so sadly the hoodie doesn't cover my butt.

After handing over the gift, I switched out my pajama shorts for some ripped jeans which went well with the black and gold Zelda hoodie. To complete the look, I pulled on some Zelda socks. Trust me, those wood floors are cold out there.

"Lookin' great lovely! Wait, is that my hoodie?"

"Yup, got a problem with it?"

"Nope. That's sexy."

I lightly blushed at his flirtatious comment and waved him off. "Anyways, tell me about this friend. Maybe i'll make her a card or something." He put a finger to his chin in thought.

"Well, she's a big horror fan and an author of several fanfictions online. She's also an Otaku, and gamer. Um, her three favorite movies are Labyrinth, Phantom of the Opera, and Scream. Uhhh, her hair is black and she dyed the top red, those are her two favorite colors. She's also got a bit of a crush on EJ, nothing too serious, and she also gets along well with bloody painter since they both love drawing."

"What's her name?"

"M@^*%. Most of us just call her M or Annie."

"Why Annie? That doesn't sound anything like her name.

"It's a joke. The full nickname is Annie-May, since it sounds like Anime, and she's a big nerd."

"Oh, that makes sense I guess."

He shrugged and left to get himself ready for the party. He also grabbed the gift so he could put it on the table with the others downstairs. I got to work making a card. It was fairly simple with some chibi horror movie characters that I traced by placing the paper over my computer at max brightness.

I wrote a horror quote, signed the card, put it in an envelope I stole from Slender's office, and brought it downstairs.

It's surprising how I didn't notice people putting up decorations during breakfast. I skipped lunch today, so they must have started after breakfast.
