Kari raced back to help Undyne, Kitearo, Beats, and Boom with anything they needed. She skid to a stop when she saw the four looking at something with pissed expressions. She then looked towards what they were looking at and widened her eyes. In front of them stood what looked like a teen in with a long brown cloak around their body and to their right, a robot that was sitting and powered down next to the person. The robot had bits of blood splatters and monster dust around the chest area. It seemed humanoid but all its features were hidden so its appearance was unknown for now.
"Well, you five are rather strong. You managed to defeat everyone here." This person was supposedly a male, as suggested by his masculine voice. Kari began to get a bad feeling as her hair bristled.
Kitearo growled. "Who are you?!"
"Oh, I am Jay. Jay Hunter. No need to introduce yourselves, I already know you. All of you." Jay turned to seemingly look at Kari, but his face was hidden so it was not for certain where exactly he was looking. Jay huffed. "Now, what bothers me is that, at least four of you never dealt the finishing blow on an opponent. The other did so... Unwillingly I guess. Why?" He asked, not expecting an answer. "Regardless, you're in my way." The teen took out a black remote and pressed one of the many buttons. "In my way of a perfect world." His voice seemed to growl a bit as he spoke. Kari shivered and grew worried, not liking where this was going.
The robot began to quake and turn on with a low rumble as it sprang to life. The round eyes flickered on and the upside down heart shape on its chest shimmered a dim silver. The robot then stood up and opened its mouth to speak.
"... yes... ch...il...d?" The robot's voice sounded garbled and oozed from the speakers like thick molasses, but even still it sounded all too familiar. Not only that but now it's features were able to be fully seen. It looked just like---
"G-go-m-ma?!" Kari called, her breath getting caught in her throat and her eyes widened in a fearful realization. Jay laughed.
"Surprised? I would think so. Your precious mother is back from the dead. But she's working for me. I've found some research on how to bring a being back, sort of. She isn't exactly herself." Jay chuckled devilishly. "So, I basically made it so she listens to no one but me. She has no soul, no sense of who she once was, well not anymore, so it was quite easy. It was hard to accomplish, since she is a boss monster after all. Her will was strong, but I eventually broke it." Jay chuckled, eyeing the surprised children and monster in front of him. "There was some more boss monster dust I had. But I was unable to get him to obey me, not wanting "his people" to be harmed so I killed him over and over until he became..." Jay fell silent for a moment as he smirked at a last thought. "Less than dust."
Boom hissed. "Why are you doing this?!"
"Yeah?! What do you have to gain from this?!" Beats snapped while Kitearo went to comfort the shaken Kari.
Jay huffed. "Power. Unlimited power! You see, if I can manipulate life to my will, then I am basically a god. Right? Everyone will obey me." He laughed. "And after I gain all that power I'll make this world my own! A perfect world ruled by yours truly!"
"You literally popped out of nowhere you brat! Why the hell show up now?!" Undyne hissed, holding a spear in each hand.
Jay stood straight and sighed. "You see, my ancestors started the whole war between monsters and humans and even helped seal you beasts away. They did it because they wanted full reign above ground. Only humans. I've been working towards that. Maintaining the labs that held all other half monsters and experimenting with monster dust so that one day I will become a god and destroy all you monsters and you half-breed shits." Jay smirked. "So, I've been here the whole time. Waiting to come out. I'm the puppet master behind the stage, you see. Head of those stolen labs that hold those half monster stains."
