My chin was propped up on my hand as I stared off into the distance. I'd given up on trying to study for my transfiguration exam. I had already been sitting in the library longer than I cared for.

"Hey there!" two very familiar voices said in sync. I snapped out of my trance and turned to face the twins. Seeing them always seemed to put me in a better mood.

"Hey, guys!" They each took a seat on either side of me. The three of us have been great friends ever since our first day at Hogwarts. Fred was sat a bit closer to me than George was and it made my heart race.

"Hitting the books, (y/n)?" George asked. I laughed before letting out an exasperated sigh.

"It feels more like they're hitting me."

"I'm sorry," Fred said. I saw him give me a sympathetic look. Quickly though, a suspicious smirk took its place. "Want to do something else? Something fun?"

"Please!"

"Follow us!" the boys said at the same time. I followed them through the castle. I tried to ask where we were going, but I knew they wouldn't tell me. They loved surprises too much.

As we entered some far hall I'd never been down before, I was growing worried. Who knew what kind of prank the boys could be perfecting? What if they just wanted someone to test their mischief on? They usually did that sort of thing to Percy, though.

"Here we are!" George said. I was confused when we stopped in front of a solid and empty wall. I looked between the twins with confusion.

"I don't get it."

"Wait for it."

As if on cue, the wall shook and I watched in awe as a doorway appeared. "The room of requirement?" I asked. The boys nodded as they reached to open the door. "I thought that was just some old story. A rumor."

"So did we," Fred said, holding the door open for me. I walked inside and looked around. It appeared to be a messy sort of storage room. "We were just wandering the castle looking for somewhere to work on our gags when this place showed up."

"It's quite nifty!"

"Quite!"

"That's amazing!"

The boys started messing around with some fireworks they'd been perfecting. It was, in fact, not as fun as they had promised. I got bored and began wandering around the room, weaving through aisles of stacked things. I kept finding new little trinkets that interested me. Each weird item left me wondering how it ended up in here.

I realized that I had lost sight of both of the twins. I was surprised by how easily I managed to get myself into messy situations. "Guys? Fred? George?" Neither of them responded. I didn't know how long it had been since I left them. I also didn't remember which direction I hand come from. It felt like each step was taking me deeper and deeper into this mess of boxes and old desks. "Please, guys. This isn't funny!"

Around each turn, I was met with more of the same. I was starting to freak out a bit. If I ended up lost in here, I would never forgive those guys. I felt like I was going in circles. I was beginning to feel dizzy. I stopped and fell to the ground, wrapping my arms around my knees. I needed to collect my thoughts and calm down. I hoped one of them would find me soon.

"(Y/n)?" The voice was close. I looked up. Fred turned a corner and was soon in front of me. "There you are!" I jumped up and ran to Fred, throwing my arms around him. He stumbled back from the force of my embrace. He chuckled as he held me. "I've been looking for you for so long! I was worried I'd never find you!"

"Me too," I said. He let me go and I took a step away from him. As I realized what I'd done, my face heated up. I moved some hair behind my ear.

"Let's get out of here," he suggested. I nodded. He grabbed my hand. I looked up at him. "I don't want you wandering off and getting lost again!" I laughed.

"Good idea." He lead the way while I trailed behind him slightly, our fingers intertwined. I tried to stop thinking about how much I liked his larger hand in mine. "Thanks for coming to find me."

"Of course! I wasn't gonna leave you in here!" He looked at me over his shoulder. "And I didn't trust George to do it." He gave me a sly wink before focusing again on where we were walking.
