The Marauders Next Gen - yr 2

Chapter 3

The girls had bored the train rather quickly to make sure they got a good compartment, but most of them were already full!

They came across a compartment which at first glance appeared to be empty. They stepped inside to find a small rat sitting on the bench.

"Ah!" Stella shrieked as she almost sat on it.

"Oops sorry about that!" Giggled a small voice behind her. She spun around to find a rather pretty girl were the rat had once been.

"But how, there was..." Stella starts before shaking her head and putting her trunk on the luggage rack.

"I am a animugus. Ever heard of them." She says sticking out her hand. "Oh and I am Ella by the way."

"Yeah we've got a pretty good idea what animugus is." Shelby says pushing past Emily and Stella to shake the girls hand. Although she nods she still looks rather confused, as animugus aren't the most common known types of witches and wizards. So almost on cue, Stella and Emily transform, but of course Emily being a deer and all wreaked quite a havoc.

"Wow Prongs chill!" Shelby says reaching up to her head. They somehow manage to get her into the compartment before she transforms back.

"Wow, so you two are animugus too!" She points out.

"Thanks captain obvious." Stella says as she collapses onto the seat across from her. Shelby nudges her with her elbow before too sitting down.

"Anyways this is Stella and Emily!" Shelby says gesturing between us.

"And together were the Marauders." Emily adds finally sitting down next to Ella. Suddenly a bright idea comes over Ella's face.

"Hey i heard that there are some really cute boys a few compartments down!" She says rising from her seat. The three exchange glances before rising. They knew almost everyone in their year so it wouldn't hurt to find out who was 'cute' these days. Little did they know!

The four girls pull open a compartment door to find Dean,Seb, Oliver and Eathen.

"Well what do we have here!" Eathen says as Ella steps into their compartment.

"Nothing at your standards I'd say!" Dean says mockingly.

"So these are the cute boys you were talking about!" Stella says pushing past Ella to sit on Deans knee. "Hey babe." The kiss before getting pummeled by Seb and Shelby's reuniting hugs.

"Guys you saw each other half an hour ago!" Emily says as she too walks over to her boyfriend.

"Oh sorry i didn't know." Ella said as she shuts the compartment door.

"No worries love," Eathen says as he gestures to his lap as a seat.

"Shove off Eathen, She's not that desperate." Stella says summoning the freshly opened chocolate frog from his hand. They talked for the rest of the train ride before finally pulling up outside the great castle that they called school.

Being second year students they were to ride the thestrel pulled carriages into the magnificent castle they will call home for the next year.
