Barbara's POV
The doctor said he has to talk with me for something really important and tonight finally I'm going out of the hospital.
I heard the door opening I heard someone talking about me and then the doctor walked in I didn't hear what they were saying I guess they were talking about the important thing
"Heyy Barbara how are you doing"the doctor said with a weak smile not wanting to talk
"Good so what's the important thing doctor"I asked getting a little up to make myself comfortable
"You are a really beautiful girl a really beautiful you know sometimes in life we don't get what we want sometimes things don't go the way we want"the doctor stopped I was really confused I didn't know what he was talking about he kept saying I'm beautiful.
"Doctor get to point you are confusing me"I said
"Okay ummm..hmm hhuh I wish I didn't have to do this is really hard you know y-you"the doctor couldn't finish
"You are diagnosed with a brain cancer and if we do a brain operation there is 17% that you survive"
I was shocked I didn't How to react I couldn't cry I couldn't even say a word I just stopped for a moment remembering some good times with mommy and daddy.
Tears stared rolling down my cheek I smiled weakly
"No no no!! Don't cry don't cry you can beat cancer do you want to do the operation?" He asked me
"I don't know what if I don't survive"
"But what if you do survive don't think only negative there is the positive side too you have a female cancer it means you have only at least 1 year to be alive before the cancer grows"he said with a sad face not having other opinions.
"I'm going to do that operation"I claimed and he raised his eyebrows
"Good choice you are really brave you know that"he smiled
I guess we are going to beat the shit out of that freaking cancer
I felt brave confident and strong I was going to this and I'm going to survive this there's nothing that can stop me
I smiled at myself I felt really proud
I heard a knock on the door and Justin came in
" Heyy baby girl how are you doing"
"I'm doing pretty good'' I smiled wide
"I see you are happy tell me about it"he said
"The doctor said I have cancer"he didn't take it so good his smile faded in one second his eyes started watering
"I know that's why you are happy"he Siad with a sad face looking me in the eyes
"No but he said I can do a operation so I agreed and Im really proud of myself I know where this conference came from"I smiled touching his cheek and his eyes
"From you I wanna thank you for this I never knew I can do this thank you so so so much"I kissed him I didn't kiss him since I don't know but I feels like forever.
"Come one love birds we have to go the doctor said you can leave now"a unfamiliar guy came in and scared the shit outta us
"Barbara this is Ryan this my best friend he is not a vampire like me"
"Hey nice to meet you" I smiled
"Nice to meet you too I heard what happened im really sorry"he said
I smiled he is really nice
