Junetree went to fly beside her good friend. "So, Mapleglade, where do you think your brother went?"

"I think he went to a place where he can have time alone," Mapleglade said. "It's near a beach by the ocean. Follow me." He started flying to the north, lagging back a bit to wait for Junetree.

Junetree followed at perfect pace. "Why is our over-stallion so cowardly of ONE mare? No offense. I know he's your brother."

Mapleglade shruged. "I don't know... Really I don't. I thought he liked Wispiflower, but I don't think it's just her he would act around. Maybe he is just embarrassed?"

Junetree forced herself not to snicker. "I didn't know that he could get embarrassed!" She frowned when she saw the sun had moved nearly a quarter of it's way down the sky already. "How far away is this beach again?"

Mapleglade nodded. "When it comes to mares he definitely is.. and it should only be a few minutes away." He flew up into the clouds and looked to the north, and saw a small white figure flying close to the ground. "I think I see him, and he is heading north."

"So, what's your plan exactly?" Junetree said curiously.

Mapleglade paused. "Well..." He turned to look at her. "We have to convince him someway.. maybe you can tell him how Wispiflower feels and we'll go on from there?"

Junetree nodded eagerly. "Okay! I know how she feels about him because I have a photographical memory, and we're best friends and all."

Mapleglade snorted. "Anyways, lets fly faster and catch up to him."

Junetree picked up the pace a bit to show she was ready. "Sounds like a plan!"

Mapleglade started to pick up speed and fly closer to the ground.

Junetree follows, again at perfect pace. "I think I see him!"

Mapleglade looked down. "Me too! Let's go get him." He quickly picked up speed and dove towards his brother.

Junetree did the same. "So, how exactly are we gonna bring him back? By force or by will?" After she said it, she realized it was a rather silly question, but it was already too late.

"That depends," said Mapleglade. "If he wants to, then he'll come. If not, then we'll force him."

Junetree sighed. "I doubt he'll want to come back on his own, so it may have to be by force."

Mapleglade sighed as well. "It might have too."

Mapleglade dove towards land and sped up, quickly catching up to Windwing. Junetree followed close behind, ready for a fight to bring him back to Wispiflower.

Mapleglade saw Windwing clearly now, who was flying slowly. He slowed down a bit and whispered to Junetree, "Let's stay a bit behind, and stay quiet so he doesn't hear us. Once he lands, we will sneak up on him, then grab his wings so he can't fly away. Then we'll talk to him about Wispiflower."

Junetree nodded. "Sounds good." She immediately started to creep up on Windwing with noiseless wings.

Mapleglade looked ahead and whispered, "We are almost there. See that cliff? It's right below it."

Junetree stopped. Wait, where does the cliff fit in with our plan?"

Mapleglade quickly explained. "Windwing's favorite spot where he likes to go to alone is below that cliff. There's a cave, and the only way I know where it is is because I followed him one time."

Junetree continued flying then. "Ohhh. Why do you think he likes it so much down there? I don't see anything particularly special about it."

Mapleglade shrugged. "Maybe he likes being alone?"
