Chapter Four

Mapleglade looked at Junetree and Wispiflower. "Let's go in deeper and see where it leads too."

"Okay," Wispiflower replied, going in deeper.

Mapleglade walked in and heard the voices getting louder. "Guys, I think I hear them." He perked his ears.

"I think I hear it to," Junetree confirmed, perking her ears.

Windwing's eyes widened. "I just realized that i don't know your name."

Mintbreeze turned and rolled her eyes, then turned back. "It's Mintbreeze."

Windwing nodded. "I like that name."

Junetree whispered, "UGH! Gross!"

Wispiflower just stood there, speechless.

Mapleglade shook his head. "He really had his head kicked hard."

Wispiflower noded, still not wanting to believe it. "M-maybe if he saw me.."

Mapleglade looked at Junetree. "Do you think we could distract Mintbreeze and Wispiflower could go talk to Windwing?"

Junetree nodded violently. "YES."

"Okay," said Mapleglade, "let's make these weird tapping noises with our hooves on this rock, and Wispiflower you go hide where Mintbreeze won't see you. Once she comes, you sneak in and talk to Windwing."

Wispiflower nodded. "Okay."

"Got it," said Junetree.

Mapleglade started making tapping noises with his hooves, hoping Mintbreeze could hear him. Junetree did the same.

Windwing perked his ears. "Do you hear that?"

Wispiflower perked her ears. "I think I hear her coming." She hid behind a huge bolder.

Mapleglade nodded and continued to tap.

Right on cue, Mintbreeze came into view and said, "What in the world is that?!" She trotted over to where the noise was coming from and saw two pegasi. "YOU!!! What are you doing here?!?!"

Mapleglade pretended to be shocked. "What are you doing here?"

"Don't pretend," Mintbreeze scoffed. "I literally just fought you and you saw me come here!"

Wispiflower crept out of tunnel and into the main chamber. "Hello Windwing."

(Ready for another epic game of word ping-pong? No? Well too bad, it's coming anyway XD )

Mapleglade pinned his ears. "So what if we did?"

Windwing perked his ears. "Who are you?"

Mintbreeze huffed. "Just tell me how you got in!"

"My name is Wispiflower," she replied. "I'm a very close friend of yours."

Mapleglade snorted. "There are other caves ya know."

"You look familiar," Windwing commented.

Mintbreeze snorted. "Which cave?!"

"I'm glad," said Wispiflower, relief flooding through her. "You lost your memory you know."

"I did?" Windwing asked. "The only thing I remember is leading a Herd and looking for a lead mare.. but I thought I already found one.."

"Yes you did I'm afraid," Wispiflower replied sympathetically. "And you did find a lead mare."

Windwing perked his ears. "Who did I choose?"

Wispiflower glared in the direction Mintbreeze went. "Well, not Mintbreeze. In fact, you and the lead mare hated her."
