Chapter 12:The assasination.

*Natsu's POV*

I kept thinking about the girl for the past few days... I think her name was Yume?

She looked so much like Lucy...

But it can't possibly be her. I hurt Lucy too much. There's no way that she will come back.

But that scent belonged to Lucy...

It's all my fault!

"Natsu?"

I turned around and saw Yuko smiling at me.

"Will you please meet me at the park at 4 pm?"

"Why?" I asked.

"Oh... nothing just wanted to talk to you in private about some things..."

Yuko doesn't talk like that...

"Fine...4 pm right?"

"Yes..." saying that she turned her back against me and walked away.

*Yuko's POV*

"Ugh... where am I?"

I looked around me and everything was just pitch black.

"Eww... what is this?" A squishy and sticky substance surrounded me.

"Where is this place?"

Suddenly a rectangular screen glowed in front of me.

And soon the glow started fading away and what I saw was shocking...

"Is that me?!"

I saw myself in the screen.

She was talking to Natsu.

"Where am I?! Let me out!" I shouted in the darkness.

"You are trapped in your own soul... You are not able to get out..."

"Who are you?!" I shouted demanding for an answer.

"You need not need to know..."

Suddenly the box glowed again and there was Natsu at the park and I was behind him.

"Ahh!"

I was shocked.

"My- my eyes are bloody red!" I pointed at the screen.

Why?!

An evil grin spread across 'my' face...

*Natsu's POV*

"I'm here. But where in the world is she?"

It was 4pm currently.

"She's late!"

Suddenly I smelt her scent behind me.

"Yuko-"

A knife came towards me and I managed to jump out of the way in time.

"What the hell?!"I walked back from Yuko.

And I looked at her and realized that her eyes weren't blue but red.

"Huh? What happened to your eyes?" I asked.

"None of your business. " She dropped the knife on the ground. "Water Slicer!"

A water blade came rushing to me.

"Wait...what?!" I did not have time to dodge a it hit me hard.

"Oww... what's wrong with you?!" i asked getting more angry.

She did not reply as she walked closer to me. I stood up as fast as I could.

"Water Nebula!"

I dodged it and started running.

What's wrong with her? I do not want to hurt her though...

And so I ran.

"Hey. Flame Brain. Whatcha running away from? Erza?" Gray appeared form no where and started laughing.

"No!" I shouted back.

"It's Yuko!"

"Yuko? Why would she be chasing you?" he asked confused.

"That's what I want to know!" I continued running.

*Gray's POV*

"Did you do something to make her mad?" I asked.

He looks like an idiot when he's running!

"I didn't do anything! Look at her yourself!"

He ran far away and Yuko was chasing him at that moment I swore I saw her having red eyes.

"Red... eyes?" Out of curiosity I started chasing after them too.

Suddenly Natsu stopped.

"Okay you asked for it! Karyu No Hoko!" Fire came out of Natsu's mouth.

"Hey don't do that!" I shouted.

"Water Nebula!" the fire got extinguished.

"Yuko! Stop!" I shouted. "What if you destroy the town!"

She turned around and faced me.

Red Eyes! My eyes weren't deceiving me!

"Anyone who stands in my way shall be annihilated."

"Huh?!"

*Yuko's POV*

"No! Stop!" I shouted at the screen.

I was attacking Gray and Natsu.

"Stop! Please!" I struggled.

"What is this?! Get me out!" I shouted.

"Die Natsu Dragneel. Gray Fullbuster." 'I' said

"No! Natsu! Gray!" I shouted.

"Double..."

No!

"Wave!"

At the moment I managed to get out of that stick substance like thing.

And suddenly my vision blacked out.

Gray's POV*

Shit... Natsu and I was cornered.

"Double Wave!"

But nothing came and Yuko fell to the ground.

"Yuko?" I ran towards her and picked her up.

She was not moving in my arms. She laid there lifelessly.

"Gray! Quick get her to Fairy Tail!"

"I know!" I carried her and ran towards Fairy Tail.
