SUMMARY:
Kari Parnella had always had a lavish life in her home land of France. That was, until, things that weren't there started appearing wherever she was. Convinced their daughter is mad, her parents send her to a Mental Asylum. She's quickly rescue by Miss Peregrine, a odd woman who claims Kari is 'one of hers'. Taken to an off house with even odder residents, Kari is sure she's in for the adventure of a lifetime.

— kari's peculiarity is she can make illusions, or 'mirages'
— kari is from the same time period as the other peculiars, and most of the book (or all, depending on what you want) should be about her and emma slowly falling in love throughout the years and having wacky adventures
— if jacob ever does show up, emma and kari definitely should be dating by then since it's been at least 70 years fndnd
— kari is a wild card like emma and the two cause trouble and play pranks on everyone in the house
— kari should have a really close relationship with victor and his death will affect her greatly bc no one ever gives victor any slack lmao
— her parents really did love her, and were genuinely worried for her when her peculiarity started to manifest, so kari misses them a lot
