chp-6 "my what??"

Alex was at his penthouse getting ready for his day. He was a little giddy about the thing that Bella would be here. His chose his black blazer with white shirt, wore them and made his way to dining room.

He saw Martha waiting there with his breakfast made as always. Martha, a 45 year lady with white skin having wrinkles and sweet smile. Alex always considered her as his mother figure. It's not that he don't have one. But after shifting from his parents house, Martha was always there. She would take care of him and love him like her child. She too had a son but he lives in other state practicing medicine. She worked here not because she didn't had money but because she loved Alex as her child. She was her nanny when he was just six years old.

Martha saw Alex coming and a wide smile made its way on her face.

"Good morning Alex!" She greeted happily. And he greeted her back and sat in the table and saw his favorite breakfast; pancake and orange juice. He ate it while having a little chat with her. She sat with him always to give him company.

"Well Martha , we have a guest." The sentence made a eyebrow raise from the Martha. She asked about whom to expect and he said, "well, it's a girl th-"

"Your girlfriend?" She almost screamed.

"No she is two year old toddler that you have to babysit. If you don't want to then-"

"Really... I'm more than happy to help you. You know I joined as a nanny, well ... You are grown up now, so may be I will get my job done now again. " Her eyes where were shining.

"They will be here soon" Alex said glancing the watch.

Violet walked through the large building with Bella on her baby stroller with her things in a big bag and made her way to elevator with everyone's eyes reading the scene before them. Many of them were just
astonished seeing them while some thinking about the relationship between two and making a judgement in their mind. Violet as always didn't mind the people and entered the big silver box. She pressed the P on the set of keys, for the first time. She never went to his penthouse this early in morning and well she wasn't too fond of visiting unnecessarily.

It took almost 1 minute to reach there. The elevator opened and she got out with sleeply Bella. How could she sleep while traveling? Violet thought smiling. Bella looked adorable. She rang the bell and waited for someone to open the door.

Martha and Alex heard the bell and before Martha could go, Alex already started his journey there. He opened the door and was greeted by Violet, who looked quite beautiful. Did he noticed it today how beautiful his secretary is? He question himself. Then his eyes went to the little angel sleeping peacefully.

"Good morning Mr . Handerson" Violet greeted.

"Good morning Violet". Alex said pressing her name in a way to remind her something. Bella woke up hearing Alex's voice with a wide smile.

"Al, Al." She shouted to get his attention.

"Weren't you sleeping Bella?" Violet asked.

"Alex would you invite them inside" Martha's voice came from inside. Alex took Bella in his arms and they moved inside.

Violet came inside first and exchanged pleasantry while Alex and Bella where in their small little world.

"Martha meet Bella, " she turned around "Alex bring her here!" Violet said remembering to call him by name.

When Alex came with Bella Martha's face paled. She lost all the colors. Was she the one? How could this be true? It must be a coincidence right?

"Al-Alex, s-she..." Martha could not able to form words.

Violet noticed this and new something was wrong.

"Martha are you alright?" Violet asked and saw worry on Alex face too while Bella was busy playing with his coat button.

"Who is she?"at last Martha could form the words that were on the edge.

"She is Bella, Violet's daughter." Alex responded watching Bella adoringly. He just love Bella in his arms. Reason for the one is still complicated for him.

Martha just signed. She is not the one. She thought. The small portion of his heart was happy but in little part she expected to face that math today. The wanted to tell Alex about the little cutie, that she dropped at the door step of some kind unknown. That guilt made its way to her heart.

She saw the little girl palying with Alex and Violet watching them. The girl having a hazel eyes like that the whole handerson family. Same but at the same time different. Could she? She thought of voicing her thought.

"She is adorable." Martha said coming out if trance and having a small smile on her face. "Well Alex you never told me you have a daughter!"

This sentence dropped like a bomb on the Alex. He nearly choked on air. My what?

"No, Martha she is Violet's daughter. And I would appreciate if you take care of her toady as we have a important meeting and may have to wait late. Will it be alright." Alex responded.

"Sure. I will be more than happy!" She said and made her way to Bella "come here little girl" she cooed her "we will be playing games and making cookies!"

"Cookies!!" Bella was excited.

Violet smiled and the glanced at Alex mouthing a thank you. While Alex just nodded in response. He always have. With short answer when it come to Violet. Like if he speak more something irreverent will come out. He was a business man. He should know how to deal with people he have always been. But when it comes to Violet he just can't decide. He always is vulnerable, but mask it under his short reply.

Violet kissed Bella's forehead and asked Martha not to give her lots of sweet as she have a stomach ache after that. Martha agreed.

"Bye Bella. Don't be naughty and hassle Martha ok." Violet warned Bella to which Bella gave a smile.

Alex came around and he too kissed Bella on her forehead and said bye while in return got a kiss on his cheek.

Alex smiled and they both made there way down the office.
