I'm sorry for the long wait. I've been struggling a lot in school and my grades aren't doing well. I'm try hard to get this done. I hate keeping you guys waiting so long so I'll give you guys a sneak peek of the next chapter. Again I'm so sorry. 💔

Guren POV:

I see myself stand in front of a dead body. A little girl's body. She covered in blood.

It's all you're fault Guren Ichinose

I'm dead because of you

You were too weak

I freeze when I realize who's voice that belongs to. Who's body that belongs to.

Y/N....

You just stood there helpless as you watch them take me away

You promised to save me but look at you now

You gave me your word that you would come for me

Where's that promise now?

Did you forget?

Was I forgotten?

I see her get up from the floor still covering in blood. As she's stands in front of me, she smiles and tilts her head, staring me down.

Was I not good enough for you?

I cover my ears trying to block out her voice but then I look up and see her again.

Not as a child but as if she was alive this entire time. Her hair longer and her e/c eyes shine like beautiful diamonds.

I take my hands to reach out to her as she also reach out to me but when I try and hold her, she goes right through me.

No.. no.. please let me touch you again...

Then all of a sudden I'm on top of a cliff. I see Y/N at the edge.

No!

"Oh Guren.. You're so handsome now but too bad nothing can become for us. Since there's no longer an us. There's only you."

Then Y/N lets her body fall off the cliff, like she's was being pushed.

I try to run after to help her but then I'm wrapped in chains preventing me from getting her.

Then I hear it. The last think I hear from Y/N.

Her loud, painful scream.
